You will shape how fans discover and engage with content across Crunchyroll's most visible surfaces, balancing strong editorial judgement with disciplined use of performance data.</p> <p>You will define regional frameworks, align cross-departmental teams, and mentor Curation talent to deliver experiences that are locally relevant, globally consistent, and commercially effective. Success requires strategic thinking, analytical rigor, and influence across Product, Programming, Marketing, Growth, and regional stakeholders.</p> <p>In the role of Senior Manager, Curation (Europe), you will report to the Director, Curation.</p> <p>We are considering applicants for the location of London, UK.</p> <h3>Core Areas of Responsibility</h3> <ul> <li>Oversee the end-to-end curation strategy and execution for Europe, aligning regional and global priorities at scale.</li> <li>Develop curation frameworks that grow engagement, retention, and conversion.</li> <li>Use analytics and experimentation to continuously optimize key screens and discovery surfaces.</li> <li>Partner cross-departmentally to support launches, Growth campaigns, Flywheel initiatives, and seasonal moments.</li> <li>Lead and mentor regional Curation talent, promoting strong editorial judgment and consistency across the EU team.</li> <li>Provide data-informed thought leadership on content presentation and positioning.</li> <li>Translate performance insights into actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.</li> <li>Contribute strategic input to the evolution of Curation tools, workflows, and product features.</li> </ul> <h2>About You</h2> <p>We get excited about candidates, like you, because...</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of experience in Content Curation, merchandising, or editorial strategy within streaming, media, or entertainment.</li> <li>5+ years of people management experience.</li> <li>Strong knowledge of streaming platforms, consumption behaviours, and video business models in Europe.</li> <li>Experience optimising retention and discovery across digital platforms.</li> <li>Experience translating data into actionable content decisions.</li> <li>Strong editorial judgement and deep understanding of digital merchandising principles.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with content management systems.</li> <li>Demonstrated success working cross-departmentally across regions and time zones.</li> </ul> <h2>About the Team</h2> <p data-pm-slice="1 1 []">The Curation team exists to connect a global anime community with the content they love.
