  • Create, maintain and validate packaging master data and Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring system information remains accurate and aligned with approved specifications.
  • Coordinate master data and BOM changes, completing regular data-quality checks and resolving inaccurate, duplicate or obsolete records.
  • Investigate packaging and tray variances, identifying root causes and coordinating corrective actions to prevent recurrence and minimise loss.
  • Analyse stock adjustments, usage and write-off trends to identify control issues, risks and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate control records, processes and audit trails, supporting internal, customer and external audit requirements.
  • Work closely with Packaging Intake, Planning, Production, Technical, Finance and Systems teams to resolve issues and maintain smooth factory operations.
  • Provide operational support and cover for critical packaging-control activities, helping to ensure continuity, accuracy and packaging availability during peak periods, absence and project activity.
  • Previous experience in packaging, inventory control, supply chain, manufacturing, master data or a similar operational environment.
  • Good understanding of stock reconciliation, variance investigation and inventory accuracy.
  • Experience maintaining ERP master data and/or Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with confidence using Excel or similar tools.
  • Ability to analyse data, identify root causes and drive corrective actions through to completion.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple operational functions.
  • A proactive, accurate and detail-focused approach, with the confidence to identify and resolve risks early.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, identifying opportunities to strengthen controls, improve processes and reduce operational risk.
