Metroll Bunbury is seeking an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join our operations team.

Metroll is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of quality metal building products and accessories, supporting customers across the commercial and residential construction industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with transport coordination, logistics, or scheduling experience to join a well-established business with a strong local team culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating daily transport activities, ensuring customer deliveries are planned efficiently, completed on time, and meet the highest standards of safety and service.

Working closely with drivers, customers, production, and warehouse teams, you will play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily delivery schedules and transport activities
  • Plan and allocate deliveries to ensure efficient use of vehicles and drivers
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery requirements and updates
  • Liaise with drivers to manage priorities, changes, and delivery issues
  • Coordinate loading schedules with production and warehouse teams
  • Monitor delivery progress and resolve issues as they arise
  • Ensure delivery documentation and records are completed accurately
  • Support compliance with Chain of Responsibility (COR) requirements
  • Assist with driver scheduling, vehicle coordination, and transport administration
  • Maintain accurate transport records and reporting
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across transport and logistics operations

About You

You are a highly organised and solutions-focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment.

You'll bring:

  • Previous experience in transport coordination, logistics, dispatch, or scheduling
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships
  • Confidence coordinating drivers and working with internal teams
  • Good understanding of transport operations and delivery processes
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate administration skills
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • A strong commitment to safety and customer service
  • Experience within manufacturing, building products, steel, or construction-related industries will be highly regarded.
