
Finance Analyst - Middle East, Africa & India - Fixed Term

Summary: Huda Beauty is looking for a highly motivated Finance Analyst to provide maternity cover within the regional Finance team. This position plays a key role in supporting financial planning, reporting, and business analysis across the Middle East, Africa and India regions. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting, monitoring budgets and forecasts, analyzing business performance, and partnering closely with Commercial, Marketing and Operations teams to support strategic decision-making. The role also supports monthly close activities, pricing analysis, cost management, and performance reporting, with regular exposure to senior leadership including the Director of Finance & Supply Chain and Regional General Managers.
Please note that this role is a 6-month fixed-term contract.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision making. Analyze financial data, performance metrics, and trends to provide actionable insights to management.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of annual budget and bi-annual forecasts. Work closely with department heads to understand the business needs and develop accurate forecasts.
- Variance Analysis: Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts. Investigate and explain variances, identifying areas of concern and opportunities for improvement.
- Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators, trends and risks.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze costs and the cost drivers across different departments. Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Month End Closing: Manage the monthly closing activities as well as the preparation of the monthly P&L for the region, ensuring accuracy and correct coding of the financial data. This includes reviewing actuals, creating monthly provisions with supporting backup, journal posting and actioning system refreshes as well as leading the post month end review of actuals with the marketing team.
- Ad Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad hoc analysis and special projects as required by management.
- Pricing Maintenance: Ensure the pricing Masterfile is kept up to date with the latest pricing changes, gaining alignment with commercial and sharing with global as needed. Update all systems as required and resolve any pricing discrepancies that arise.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards and tax requirements.
- Invoice Coding: Review and provide invoice coding for GTN invoices, BA recharges and logistics invoices, ensuring they are posted by Accounts Payable to the correct general ledger account, department and business unit.
- PO and Spend Approvals: Review Marketing spend PO’s ensuring appropriate coding is provided. Review and approve team travel requests, ensuring they are within policy and budget.
- ERP Systems: Ensure optimization of financial software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and Excel
- Strong analytical skill set and commercial awareness
- Proficiency in English, written and verbal, is essential
- Good communication skills, able to liaise across all levels within a multicultural environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills; able to handle multiple priorities and adhere to deadlines
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

- Resilient, gritty mentality
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the consumer goods industry, preferably cosmetics
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
