Retail Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Retail Manager to lead our store operations and drive business success.
Position Description:
The Retail Manager will oversee daily store operations, manage staff, maintain inventory control, and ensure excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and a passion for the fast-paced food retail industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations to ensure efficiency, high standards, and smooth service delivery.
- Oversee store accounts, ensuring financial transactions are accurate and compliant.
- Plan staff rosters and manage labour costs effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels, place stock orders, and manage supplier relationships.
- Address and resolve customer feedback professionally.
- Ensure compliance with WHS regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and review operational and financial reports to drive performance improvements.
- Collaborate with leadership on promotions, sales strategies, and business growth initiatives.
- Lead, train, and supervise front-of-house and back-of-house team members.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma in business or management.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a retail management or managerial role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, customer service standards, and POS systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations is highly desirable.
