Opalus Investments Limited is developing OPAL, an AI-powered SaaS business operating platform for SMEs. OPAL places accounting at the core and connects finance, customers, people, projects, documents and workflow in one secure operating environment. We are establishing our software development team and office in Kochi, Kerala.

The opportunity

Create the delivery rhythm, visibility and continuous-improvement practices needed for multiple cross-functional teams to release OPAL predictably.

What you’ll do

• Facilitate planning, daily coordination, reviews, retrospectives and release-readiness activities.
• Coach teams in pragmatic agile practices and help remove delivery impediments.
• Track dependencies, risks, decisions and delivery commitments across workstreams.
• Maintain clear sprint, release and programme reporting for product and leadership stakeholders.
• Coordinate cross-functional contributors and any external or cross-time-zone dependencies.
• Support capacity planning, forecasting and continuous improvement.
• Protect alignment between product priorities, technical work and release execution.
• Improve delivery governance without adding unnecessary process overhead.

Opalus Investments Limited is developing OPAL, an AI-powered SaaS business operating platform for small and medium-sized businesses. With accounting at its core, OPAL is designed to connect finance, banking, customers, people, recruitment, projects, documents, workflow and reporting in one secure operating environment. A permissioned AI layer is being designed across the connected business record to help users understand information, prepare work and take controlled action with appropriate approvals and audit trails.

The company has completed a high-fidelity working prototype and is building the production-grade platform for an initial Australian release. Opalus is now establishing a software development office and multidisciplinary product team in Kochi, Kerala, to help take OPAL through engineering, testing, release and ongoing product development.

What you bring

• Strong experience leading agile delivery for complex SaaS, enterprise or FinTech products.
• Experience coordinating multiple disciplines across the full software-delivery life cycle.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Practical command of Scrum, Kanban, release planning and dependency management.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or comparable delivery tooling.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, risk-management and stakeholder-communication skills.
• Experience helping new product teams establish delivery practices and metrics.
• Experience with accounting, ERP or regulated software programmes.
• Experience aligning delivery priorities, sprint goals, and release plans with product leaders or Product Managers.
• Experience coordinating delivery execution and resolving blockers with engineering leads and software development teams.
• Experience collaborating with QA, UX/UI, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams across the software delivery life cycle.
• Experience providing delivery visibility, risk, dependency, progress, and release-readiness reporting to senior leadership or executive stakeholders.
• Experience managing delivery dependencies with external partners or distributed teams across different time zones.
• Eligible to work in India.
• Based in Kochi or willing to relocate to Kochi.
• Available to occasionally overlap with global stakeholders or distributed teams across different time zones.
• Available for release planning, critical deployments, or issue resolution activities during key delivery periods, including occasional coordination outside normal hours.

Preferred experience

• Relevant Scrum, agile or programme-delivery certification, such as CSM, PSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 Agile.
