IT Data Administrator - Part time, 25 Hours per week over 5 Days

The Recipe (About the Role)

The IT Data Administrator is responsible for maintaining accurate, complete, and timely master data across key business systems. Acting as the first point of contact for all master data enquiries, the role ensures that data is governed effectively and delivered to the business with consistency and reliability.

As the organisation continues to scale over the next 3–5 years and adopts enhanced technologies, this role will become increasingly critical in strengthening data quality, supporting digital transformation, enabling data-led judgements, and embedding robust master data governance across the company.

  • Act as the first point of contact for master data queries and requests.
  • Work on data quality reports and communicate findings and actions.
  • Maintain and validate master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Complete peer reviews of master data entries and updates.
  • Deliver master data on time to help business operations.
  • Work on projects with accurate data and system consistency improvements.
  • Maintain master data processes, controls, and procedure documentation.
  • Work with stakeholders to resolve queries and improve data quality.
  • Work on data trend monitoring and continuous improvement activities.
  • Help train the Master Data team to ensure knowledge consistency.

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

Key Know How:

  • Previous experience working with master data or high-volume data entry.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including data validation, analysis, and formatting.
  • Strong organisational and administrative capability with consistent attention to detail.
  • Ability to present information clearly, logically, and professionally.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive working relationships.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines reliably.
  • Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems is preferable but not essential.
