Help us deliver technology projects that make a real difference

We are looking for an organised and proactive Project Coordinator to join our Central Services IT team.

Working closely with the Project Manager and colleagues across IT, applications, data and operational services, you will help keep digital and technology projects organised, on track and moving forward.

You will coordinate project activities, maintain plans and documentation, organise meetings and workshops, and make sure actions, risks and decisions are recorded and followed through.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to busy projects, connecting people and making sure the detail is taken care of.

What will you be doing?

You will:

  • Coordinate project activities, schedules, resources and communications.
  • Maintain project plans, trackers and supporting documentation.
  • Organise project meetings, workshops and engagement sessions.
  • Prepare agendas, materials and meeting notes.
  • Capture actions, decisions and key outcomes.
  • Make sure tasks are clearly assigned and tracked through to completion.
  • Monitor progress against project milestones and deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate risk, issue, decision and dependency logs.
  • Follow up on outstanding actions and escalate concerns where appropriate.
  • Support the preparation of project reports and stakeholder updates.
  • Help coordinate training, communication and change activities.
  • Support system rollouts and the transition of projects into day-to-day use.
  • Work closely with IT, application support, data and operational teams.

About you

You will be someone who can manage competing priorities, keep accurate records and communicate confidently with a range of colleagues and stakeholders.

We are looking for someone with:

Experience supporting projects or coordinating activities.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

The ability to manage several tasks and deadlines at once.

Excellent attention to detail.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The confidence to work with a wide range of stakeholders.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, Teams and project tracking tools.

A practical and proactive approach to solving problems.

The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.

Experience supporting digital or technology projects, system implementations or organisational change would be beneficial.

An understanding of project approaches such as PRINCE2 or Agile would also be an advantage.

A current driving licence and willingness to travel to other Belong locations are required.

Why join Belong?

You will be joining Belong at an exciting stage of its digital development, helping to deliver projects that improve how our teams work and support the services we provide.

We offer:

  • A salary of £32,209 per annum.
  • Hybrid working in line with Belong’s policy.
  • Learning and development opportunities.
  • A supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • The opportunity to build experience across a range of digital and technology projects.
  • Access to Belong’s wider colleague benefits.
