About the role 

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: 

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Davy’s central Programme Management Office (PMO) on an 18 month fixed term contract.

As a PMO Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting project delivery across the organisation by helping teams translate business needs into clear requirements, enhance processes, strengthen governance, and enable data-driven decision‑making. This is a business-facing role suited to someone who enjoys working across multiple projects, engaging with stakeholders, and helping shape how the firm delivers change. 

In the role, the successful candidate will: 

Business Analysis & Process Improvement 

  • Partner with Project Managers and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into high‑quality business requirements and user stories. 
  • Map and analyse existing business processes to identify opportunities for simplification and standardisation. 
  • Support PMO continuous improvement initiatives, including enhancements to delivery frameworks, reporting, and governance. 

Reporting & Insights 

  • Produce high quality reports. 
  • Analyse data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. 
  • Create dashboards and management insights  

Stakeholder Engagement 

  • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements sessions with business teams and senior stakeholders. 
  • Prepare business documentation including requirements, process maps, and operating models. 
  • Support communication of change impacts and benefits across the organisation. 

Project Delivery Support 

  • Assist Project Managers with planning, RAID management, and governance preparation. 
  • Support change readiness by contributing to training materials, procedures, and communications. 
  • Participate in UAT coordination and business-side testing support. 

Regulatory & Risk Alignment 

  • Ensure alignment of requirements and documentation with internal controls and regulatory expectations. 
  • Support PMO audit, compliance, and control assessments as required. 

Requirements

About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

  • 4+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in financial services. 
  • Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements and process flows. 
  • Experience working in project or PMO environments. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 
  • Highly organised with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. 
  • Experience within a central PMO or portfolio function. 
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA or Power BI  
  • Exposure to regulatory or risk-related change initiatives. 
  • Knowledge of project methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
