Your Opportunity

As an Occupational Rehabilitation Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting workers recovering from workplace injuries. By collaborating with key stakeholders, you will facilitate gradual and sustainable recovery and return to work outcomes while delivering exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement tailored Recovery and Return to Work (RTW) programs in collaboration with worker, employers, medical practitioners, allied health professionals and insurers.
  • Conduct workplace assessments to identify and address barriers to RTW, offering practical solutions to support recovery.
  • Educate employers, RTW coordinators, and managers on best practice return to work, early intervention strategies, and workplace adjustments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including employers, workers, treating health practitioners, and insurers.
  • Monitor worker progress, adjusting RTW plans as necessary based on recovery trajectories and feedback.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative requirements, organisational policies, and best practice.
  • Maintain detailed documentation and notes of assessments, RTW plans, and progress reports for stakeholders.
  • Exceptional customer service to varied stakeholders

What We Offer:

  • Collaboration with a skilled multidisciplinary team, including access to industry leaders and subject matter experts.
  • A comprehensive onboarding and tailored training program.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including a mix of in-office, on-site, and remote work opportunities.
  • Professional development tailored to your career growth.
  • A supportive, balanced work culture with a genuine focus on health and recovery outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

Essential:

  • Tertiary Qualification as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, RN, Chiropractor, Osteopath or Paramedic.
  • Current registration or accreditation with a professional body (e.g., AHPRA, ASORC).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, clinical reasoning, and solution-focused thinking.
  • Commitment to achieving evidence-based recovery outcomes.
  • Current unrestricted driver’s license and own vehicle.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a return to work or occupational rehabilitation role.
  • Knowledge of Victorian WorkCover legislation and similar schemes.

Work Environment:

You’ll join a collaborative and dynamic environment where innovation, teamwork, and excellence are celebrated. Your role will involve a combination of office-based, on-site, and remote work, requiring flexibility and adaptability to meet client needs.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a nationally recognized, award-winning team with a reputation for excellence.
  • Make a meaningful impact on workers’ lives and recovery journey.
  • Enjoy competitive remuneration, real-time incentives for clinical outcomes, and genuine career growth opportunities
