
Visual Designer
Job description
We are looking for a visual designer to join our team with a strong focus in digital design. You must be comfortable working across many media. You're a conceptual thinker who can bring your ideas to life in new and inspiring ways. You have a strong point of view on design. It shows in your writing, speaking and work. When you decide to make something, you see your vision from concept to launch. The role requires working collaboratively, creatively and flexibly with multidisciplinary teams. Candidates should demonstrate an ability to work across a range of projects; from brand identity, marketing collateral (physical and digital) to packaging.Responsibilities
- Creating visual assets across multiple disciplines (brand identity systems, UI mock-ups, UX presentation materials, packaging graphics, presentation decks and social media posts).
- Supporting senior visual design (generating concepts, extending visual systems, creating production files, preparing deliverables, researching design trends, and organizing design libraries).
- Producing production-ready artwork (exporting UI assets, preparing print-ready packaging files, organizing Illustrator files, following die-lines, managing image resolution, checking color specs, and preparing design handoff assets).
- Building digital interfaces (creating high-fidelity mock-ups, building design system components, creating icons, producing illustration, applying typographic systems, assisting with prototypes).
- Developing branding materials (brand concepts, brand guidelines, illustration systems, icon libraries, environmental graphics).
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-4 years designing for brand and digital products at an agency.
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Communication Design or Interaction Design preferred.
- Fluency in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Lightroom, Keynote/PowerPoint.
- Able to work on-site in San Francisco with occasional remote work opportunities
- A portfolio that demonstrates wide-ranging abilities and showcases relevant work (see above).
- Experience designing motion graphics with the latest animation tools a plus.

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$100,000/year depending on experience.
