Senior QA Engineer @ Hitachi Energy
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
- Proven experience in test automation using Python.
- Willingness to develop expertise in Power Systems; prior knowledge or experience in this area is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, MODBUS, and IEEE C37.118 is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is an advantage.
- Familiarity with BDD testing approaches, including Gherkin notation, is a plus.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, test design techniques, and testing tools.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, SDLC, and version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with performance, security, or compliance testing is an advantage.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and make decisions that positively impact product quality.
