This role is structured as an Entry-Level (L1 – Foundational Scope) position, which refers to the type of tasks and level of complexity, not the candidate’s overall experience or capability. 

Tasks are clearly defined, guideline-driven, and execution-focused, designed for high-volume, standardized work. 

While the task complexity is entry-level, we maintain strong language quality standards. Candidates should have advanced proficiency in Hindi and English to ensure accuracy and consistency across project deliverables. 

We welcome applicants with more advanced experience; however, task scope and compensation for this role are aligned strictly to entry-level L1 responsibilities.

At this time, all available work and budget are aligned with entry-level (L1) tasks, which are structured, execution-based, and designed for high-volume delivery.

Role Overview 

This is a freelance, task-based role designed for individuals seeking flexible, supplemental work and hands-on experience in AI language data and quality operations. 

Work is offered on a first-come, first-served basis as tasks become available. Hours may be irregular and intermittent depending on client volume. 

This role is well suited for candidates who are detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable working within structured guidelines. 

Project hours may align with IST (Indian Standard Time) depending on workflow requirements. 

Who You Are 

• You have advanced proficiency in Hindi and English with strong written communication skills 

• You are comfortable working on structured, guideline-based tasks 

• You are detail-oriented and able to follow instructions closely 

• You are interested in gaining experience in AI, data, and language operations 

• You are flexible and able to work with intermittent task availability 

• You are comfortable performing repetitive, high-volume review tasks with consistency and accuracy 

Example Tasks 

Tasks are simple, structured, and typically take a few minutes to complete depending on workflow requirements. 

• Review content for grammar, spelling, formatting, and clarity 

• Perform basic annotation, tagging, and labeling tasks 

• Compare data against provided guidelines and workflows 

• Validate or categorize short-form content 

• Flag errors, inconsistencies, or missing information 

• Complete basic transcription or content review tasks 

• Support quality assurance efforts across language datasets 

 

Key Responsibilities 

Perform structured data and content review tasks 

• Execute quality checks for grammar, spelling, formatting, and guideline adherence 

• Apply basic annotation, labeling, and tagging workflows 

• Follow client instructions and project-specific workflows carefully 

• Maintain accuracy, productivity, and quality standards 

• Incorporate feedback to improve consistency and performance 

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working on AI-related projects 

Desired Qualifications 

Interest in AI, language technology, or data operations 

• Prior experience in data entry, content review, QA, annotation, or similar work is preferred but not required 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Ability to quickly learn new tools and workflows 

• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision 

Engagement Type & Classification 

This is a freelance, task-based engagement. 

• Non-U.S. candidates: Independent contractor via Deel 

• Classification is determined by location and local compliance requirements 

Onboarding & Compliance 

Global contractors are onboarded through Deel 

• Required documentation must be completed prior to starting 

Compensation 

Compensation for this entry-level (L1) project ranges from $2.00–$2.50 USD per hour depending on market alignment, experience, and project scope. 

Compensation aligns with entry-level (L1) task scope and local market conditions.
