ICMP delivers innovative undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including specialisations in Electronic Music Production, Live Event Management, and Music Marketing. 

The Opportunity

ICMP is seeking an inspiring and experienced Programme Leader to provide strategic and academic leadership for our BA (Hons) Electronic Music Production and BA (Hons) DJ and Electronic Music Production programmes across our UK campuses.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape and lead a growing area of our Audio and Music Production provision. Delivered across ICMP's campuses in London, Liverpool and Leeds, these programmes occupy a unique position within our portfolio and are designed to equip students with the creative, technical and entrepreneurial skills required for success in contemporary electronic music industries.

As Programme Leader, you will provide strategic and academic leadership across both programmes, ensuring an outstanding student experience and high standards of teaching, learning and assessment. Working closely with academic colleagues, you'll drive innovation in curriculum design, programme delivery and industry engagement, ensuring that graduates are equipped with the skills, knowledge and creative confidence needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.

This role presents an exciting opportunity to influence the development of a relatively new and expanding subject area, helping to establish ICMP as a leading provider of electronic music production education on a national scale.

About You

You are a passionate educator and experienced practitioner with a strong background in electronic music production, DJ performance, music technology or related disciplines. You bring: 

  • Experience teaching and supporting students in higher education, ideally within electronic music production, music technology, audio production or related subject areas. 
  • Experience of programme leadership, module leadership or contributing to curriculum development within higher education. 
  • Strong industry knowledge and professional experience within electronic music production, DJ culture, music technology, sound design, production, performance or related fields. 
  • A track record of enhancing the student experience and fostering student engagement, success and progression. 
  • The ability to lead, motivate and support academic teams, promoting collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement. 
  • A commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, with an understanding of inclusive teaching practices and curriculum development. 
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to balance academic leadership, operational responsibilities and stakeholder engagement. 
  • A passion for helping students develop as creative practitioners and future industry professionals.
