We’re looking for an Italian Speaking Inside Sales Representative to join our United Kingdom team. In this role, you’ll help us expand our culinary footprint by identifying and onboarding the most popular local restaurants onto the Deliveroo platform.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be joining the New Business Development team. We are the engine room of Deliveroo’s growth, tasked with discovering the best local eats and convincing them to partner with us to change the landscape of the food industry.

The base salary for this role is £27,700, plus a monthly commission for achieving targets.

Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:

  • Drive Growth: Execute high levels of daily cold-call activity to contact restaurant leads and present partnership opportunities.

  • Pipeline Management: Own and maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently exceed monthly acquisition targets.

  • Consultative Selling: Utilise business templates and bespoke proposals to convert prospects into long-term partners.

  • Data Integrity: Maintain precise records within our CRM to provide full transparency on all sales activities and progress.

  • Negotiation: Passionately represent Deliveroo while resolving objections and negotiating pricing to ensure mutual goals are achieved.

What You’ll Need to Thrive

Essential

  • Linguistic Proficiency: Native or fluent in Italian and fluent in English, based in the UK.

  • Communication Excellence: Proven ability to build rapport quickly over the phone and a confidence in pitching products or services.

  • Sales Drive: Significant experience or a strong aptitude for closing sales and navigating high levels of outreach activity.

  • Tech Savvy: Strong understanding of technology with experience capturing activity within a CRM system.

  • Resilience: A proven ability to persevere through challenges with a curiosity to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

  • Industry Passion: A genuine interest in the food and restaurant industry.

  • Commercial Acumen: Experience working within a fast-growing startup or a three-sided marketplace.

  • Step 3: Recruiter Screen – You’ll have a 15-30 minute conversation with someone from Deliveroo to talk through your experience in more detail, learn more about the role, and get guidance on how to prepare for the next stages.

  • Step 4: Interview & Case Study – You’ll be invited to interview with one of our Managers, which may include a case study where you’ll present your findings (online or onsite).

  • Step 5: Outcome – We’ll get back to you after your interview to let you know the result!
