Company Description
Thingtrax is a VC-backed UK-based AI company transforming how food manufacturers see, understand, and optimise their production lines. Our focus is on deploying Computer Vision AI Agents that automate critical visual inspection tasks on the factory floor, starting with three core use cases: count, quality, and label verification.
These AI Agents integrate seamlessly into existing production environments, delivering instant, actionable insights that enhance accuracy, reduce waste, and ensure compliance. For enterprise customers, Thingtrax offers an optional Line Efficiency layer or integration with existing MES and OEE systems to deliver a holistic view of performance.
Our mission is to enable every food manufacturer to achieve world-class operational performance through intelligent automation, replacing manual checks with trustworthy, real-time AI intelligence.

· Be Real
· Seek Truth
· Take Responsibility
· Empower Others
· Create Customer Value

· A collaborative culture where you are supported, given constructive feedback to develop your skills and be part of a team where you can influence change
· Work with an industry disruptive solution which has a massive impact on our clients
· An industry with a lot of ‘white space’, selling into organisations that don’t currently have a digital solution.
· Autonomy and scope to continuously improve our processes, ways of working, and to delight our customers.
· Support with training & development to stay ahead of industry trends in technology and operational techniques.
The Role
We are hiring an Implementation Consultant to own the customer journey from the point a contract is signed through to a fully operational, validated Thingtrax deployment.
This role sits within Customer Success and is the critical link between what has been sold and what gets delivered. You will take the baton from Sales and Pre-Sales, lead structured onboarding and discovery with the customer, manage the deployment project, and ensure the solution is embedded into the customer’s operation in a way that delivers lasting value.
This is a manufacturing-first role. We are looking for someone who understands how food production environments work from the inside, the pressures, the constraints, the compliance requirements, and the people. You will use that knowledge to make our technology land well and stick.
This is not a coding or engineering role. This is not a sales role. It is a structured, process-driven position requiring manufacturing credibility, strong project disciplines, and the ability to bring clarity and confidence to customers navigating a significant operational change.
Responsibilities
Onboarding & Discovery
· Take ownership of new customers at contract signature and lead a structured handover from the Pre-Sales team
· Run discovery sessions with customer site teams to validate operational requirements, confirm solution scope, and align on success criteria
· Identify operational constraints, workflow dependencies, and change management considerations early in the process
· Set clear expectations with customers on timelines, milestones, and what good deployment looks like
Project Management & Delivery
· Own the end-to-end implementation project from kickoff through to go-live and early-stage stabilisation
· Manage project scope, timelines, customer communications, and internal resource coordination
· Act as the primary customer point of contact throughout the delivery phase, building trust and maintaining momentum
· Coordinate with field engineers and technical teams to ensure on-site activities are planned and executed effectively
· Track project risk and proactively manage issues before they affect delivery confidence or customer satisfaction
Solution Embedding & Validation
· Work with customers to embed the Thingtrax Vision AI solution into their operational workflows and standard procedures
· Apply lean and process improvement thinking to help customers redesign relevant quality, inspection, or compliance processes around the new solution
· Ensure trained models and configured solutions meet the agreed specification and operational requirements before sign-off
· Validate go-live readiness and support early-stage stabilisation until the solution is performing consistently
· Transition accounts into Business-As-Usual, handing over to the Client Success team with full documentation and context
Process Improvement & Best Practice
· Develop and refine repeatable onboarding and implementation processes that scale as the business grows
· Capture lessons learned and feed insights back into Pre-Sales and Product to improve the end-to-end customer experience
· Identify opportunities for solution expansion or deeper adoption within customer sites
· Contribute to pre-sales activity where your manufacturing knowledge adds value, though this will not be the primary focus of the role
Objectives & Success Measures
Performance in this role is measured on delivery quality, customer confidence, and operational adoption.
Key indicators include:
· Consistent on-time, in-scope project delivery
· Strong first-pass go-live performance with minimal rework
· High customer satisfaction at go-live and through early-stage operation
· Quality and completeness of handover documentation to the Client Success team
· Reduction in post-deployment escalations linked to implementation gaps
· Customer adoption and process embedding, not just technical deployment
Manufacturing credibility, structured project thinking, and a process improvement mindset are more important than technical depth.
Join the Thingtrax team today and be a part of revolutionizing the manufacturing industry with innovative productivity solutions!
Required Experience & Background
We are seeking candidates with a grounding in manufacturing operations and a track record of delivering structured process or operational change. Experience may come from any of the following:
· Food manufacturing, FMCG, or food & beverage operations
· Quality assurance, compliance, or quality systems management
· Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma programmes
· Process implementation or operational change management
· Production management or line leadership
· Manufacturing technology deployment or systems onboarding
Candidates should demonstrate:
· Deep familiarity with how production environments operate and the pressures site teams face
· Experience delivering structured projects or change programmes in live operational settings
· Lean, quality function deployment (QFD), or process improvement methodology knowledge
· The ability to translate technical concepts into operational language that resonates with factory teams
· Strong stakeholder management across all levels — from shop floor operators to plant directors
· Structured, organised approach to project planning and documentation
· Confidence to challenge assumptions and hold the line on quality and scope boundaries
· Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites across the UK
Not Required. You do not need:
· Coding or software development expertise
· Deep AI or computer vision engineering knowledge
· PLC programming or network configuration experience
· A background in technology sales
