Reporting to the DACH General Manager with a dotted-line relationship to the Senior Director, Medical Affairs Europe, role will serve as the DACH senior medical authority for the affiliate, driving medical strategy, providing leadership to cross-functional partners, and ensuring alignment between European priorities and local execution while bringing DACH-specific insights to inform regional decision-making.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the DACH Medical strategy and execution plan, ensuring alignment with European medical strategy, priorities, and affiliate objectives</li> <li>Serve as the senior medical leader for the DACH affiliate and represent Medical on leadership discussions and business planning activities</li> <li>Provide medical leadership for launch readiness, lifecycle management, and cross-functional decision-making across Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Compliance and Clinical functions</li> <li>Partner closely with Market Access and HEOR to provide medical and scientific expertise for AMNOG/HTA activities, value communication, and payer-related scientific engagement within DACH</li> <li>Engage with selected DACH Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), investigators, and scientific experts to support strategic scientific exchange, gather insights, and advance affiliate and regional medical priorities</li> <li>Build and maintain strategic relationships with KOLs, investigators, scientific societies and other key external stakeholders across Germany, Austria and Switzerland</li> <li>Lead local advisory boards, scientific exchange programs and medical education initiatives that support affiliate objectives and complement regional medical activities</li> <li>Lead, coach and develop the DACH MSL team, ensuring high-quality field medical execution, insight generation and scientific engagement</li> <li>Oversee local medical review, approval and governance processes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, industry codes and company policies</li> <li>Collaborate with HEOR on the execution of HEOR-led real-world evidence and other evidence-generation initiatives within DACH</li> <li>Monitor scientific and competitive developments and communicate actionable insights to regional and global stakeholders</li> <li>Serve as the medical counterpart to Pharmacovigilance for local safety-related activities and escalations</li> <li>Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and strategic execution, setting high standards for leadership effectiveness and cross-functional partnership</li> <li>Travel will be required for this role</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Skills, Qualifications and Technical Proficiencies:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong understanding of German market access, AMNOG/HTA processes and the DACH healthcare environment</li> <li>Strong cross-functional partnership skills with Market Access, Commercial, Regulatory, Legal/Compliance, HEOR, Clinical and global or regional medical colleagues</li> <li>Fluency in German and English is required</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Education and Experience:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced degree preferred (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent)</li> <li>10+ years of medical experience within biotechnology or pharmaceutical organizations; oncology experience is strongly preferred</li> <li>Experience leading Medical or MSL teams within Germany and/or the broader DACH region</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p>For information on how Corcept collects, uses, discloses, protects, and otherwise processes personal information and an explanation of the rights and choices available to you with respect to your personal information, please refer to our <a href="https://corcept.com/privacy-notice/">Privacy Notice link</a>.&nbsp;</p> <p>Corcept appreciates the commitment and hard work of all our team members as we strive to discover and develop novel treatments for patients with serious unmet medical needs.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Please visit our website at: <a href="https://www.corcept.com/">https://www.corcept.com/</a></strong></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><strong>Corcept is an Equal Opportunity Employer</strong></p> <p><em>Corcept will not conduct interviews via text message or messaging platforms and will not ask you to download anything as part of your interview.&nbsp; Though we use third-party tools to help with advertising our jobs, please be vigilant in checking that the communication is in fact coming from Corcept.</em></p> <p><strong><em>&nbsp;</em></strong></p></div>
