Metroll Hobart is seeking a proactive and organised Customer & Administration Support professional to join our team.
This is a hands-on role where you'll be at the centre of customer communication, shed project coordination, and branch operations. You'll work closely with customers, suppliers, transport, and internal teams to ensure orders are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on time.

About the Role
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will coordinate shed orders from start to finish while providing essential administration support to keep the branch running smoothly.
You'll be responsible for keeping customers informed, managing project details, and ensuring all teams have the right information to deliver great outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
· Coordinate shed projects from order through to delivery
· Act as the key contact for customers, providing updates and resolving enquiries
· Manage order information, documentation, and project records accurately
· Coordinate third-party product purchases, deliveries, and collections
· Check, receipt, and label incoming materials
· Maintain accurate records across systems including Pronto and internal trackers
· Liaise with production, transport, and National Shed Support teams to meet delivery timelines
· Prepare job cards and enter sales orders where required
· Manage customer progress payments and required documentation
· Confirm delivery requirements and communicate updates to customers
· Assist with customer claims, product enquiries, and general administration
· Support the Branch Manager with customer relationships and operational activities
About You
You're organised, customer-focused, and someone who takes pride in getting the details right.
You'll bring:
· Experience in customer service, administration, sales support, or project coordination
· Experience in construction, roofing, steel, sheds, fencing, manufacturing, or building products will be highly regarded.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
· Experience with ERP systems such as Pronto is highly regarded
· A proactive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Location Requirement
Applicants must currently live in Hobart or be willing to relocate to Hobart, Tasmania.
