
Technical Program Manager (SAP S/4HANA)
Summary
We are seeking a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead SAP S/4HANA transformation programs, with a focus on revenue recognition and related enterprise workstreams. This role will own cross-functional program delivery across planning, governance, risk management, stakeholder alignment, and business adoption for large-scale transformation initiatives.
General information
This engagement supports a large-scale SAP transformation spanning multiple business units and regions. The program is focused on migrating and transforming enterprise processes into a unified SAP S/4HANA environment, including lead-to-cash and central finance-related initiatives.
The work is in active planning and execution, with Technical Program Managers needed to drive coordination across business and technology teams. The role sits at the intersection of program governance, enterprise delivery, and SAP transformation execution.
Tasks and Deliverables
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-wide technology initiatives and programs.
- Manage program scope, schedule, budget, dependencies, risks, issues, and executive communications.
- Develop and maintain detailed project and program plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
- Coordinate business, architecture, development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery.
- Drive governance processes, leadership reviews, status reporting, and SteerCo communications.
- Ensure solutions meet scalability, security, compliance, and service-level requirements.
- Manage program artifacts including dashboards, reports, budgets, decision logs, RAID logs, and executive presentations.
- Support system modernization, cloud migration, integrations, digital transformation, and enterprise platform initiatives.
- Develop performance metrics and provide data-driven insights for leadership decision-making.
- Coordinate testing, deployment readiness, training, organizational change management, and business adoption activities.
- Own end-to-end program governance for SAP S/4HANA transformation workstreams, including revenue recognition, lead-to-cash, and related enterprise platforms.
- Manage integration across functional and technical workstreams, including SIT/UAT planning, environment readiness, release readiness, vendor management, and deployment planning.
Required experience
- 8-10+ years of experience managing large-scale technical projects or programs.
- Strong experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
- Experience with enterprise applications such as SAP, Salesforce, Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure), Integration Platforms, and Data & Analytics solutions.
- Proficiency with Jira, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Confluence, and reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills.
- Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation programs and managing multiple workstreams.
- Experience leading enterprise SAP programs with exposure to revenue recognition-related workstreams.
