(Intern) Founder's Associate

Your Impact

As Founder's Associate Intern, you'll work side-by-side with our founders and senior leadership on Tacto's most important cross-functional initiatives. From sharpening our GTM strategy, scoping the next 10x product cases, to helping us scale and grow effectively. Expect a steep learning curve, direct ownership, and work that's visible across the entire company.

Your tasks

Build the future: as a Founders Associate Intern, you take ownership of our biggest upside opportunities and toughest challenges. You work end-to-end and have touchpoints across every department at Tacto, so you can expect to:

• Be the Builder – Assume responsibility on high-impact end-to-end strategic projects (zero-to-one from thesis building to operation)

• Refine our GTM strategy – analyze early traction data, define hypotheses, and test cases to scale the motion

• Support the executive team – prepare C-level meetings with our most important customers and partners

• Conduct market and competitive analysis – identify next growth opportunities

What we're looking for

• Currently pursuing or already completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree at a top-tier university with excellent grades

• First professional experience in management consulting, investment banking, venture capital or business development

• You have a natural curiosity and are eager to dive deep into our processes and understand the complexities of our work and our customers

• You are excited about AI and ideally have built something yourself

• You are a strong communicator and have excellent written and personal communication skills in German and English

Where our previous interns work now

After Tacto, over 10 former interns have founded their own companies, with e.g. 3 already going through Y Combinator. Others have joined programs like CDTM (5+ acceptances), moved into top consulting firms, or joined early-stage startups and VCs. The common thread: they all got a real understanding of what it takes to build and scale a company.

 

Our Background

Tacto is building the intelligence layer that connects AI to the physical world of manufacturing, starting with procurement. AI is transforming every industry, but it stops at the factory gate. The knowledge that holds manufacturing together - part costs, suppliers, materials - is scattered across systems and people. Over 50% of a product's cost originates from suppliers, making procurement the single largest cost lever in manufacturing and the missing connection between the digital and the physical world. Yet it still runs on Excel and legacy systems. We're changing that with our Procurement Intelligence Platform, trusted by hundreds of companies running billions of Euros of material.
