
Senior Strategy Consultant - Bank Finance Transformation (m/f/d)
About the role
You’ll be part of a global team focused on customer value creation with finance & risk solutions in strategic customer opportunities. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you’ll help shape client value propositions, lead strategic initiatives, and support delivery across complex transformation programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and technology.
Key responsibilities
- Lead strategic workstreams in finance transformation programs for banks
- Translate complex business challenges into innovative solutions and actionable roadmaps
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, delivery, and architecture
- Support client engagements from early shaping to execution, including C-level interactions
- Contribute to internal capability building and team development
- Bring thought leadership on bank steering, KPIs, financial performance and risk management
- Help define and evolve our finance & risk transformation offering for banking clients
Job location
Remote-first role based in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, Serbia or Romania. Occasional travel may be required.
- 2+ years experience in strategy consulting, ideally with a strong analytical foundation
- Experience in banking, with an understanding of industry dynamics
- Strong tech affinity — comfortable working with digital tools, data models, and transformation platforms
- Experience across both strategic change initiatives and operational finance & risk environments (e.g. controlling, data & analytics, reporting, planning)
- Familiarity with transformation programs, including process / operating model design and system implementation
- Risk management experience is a plus
- Experience with finance software, especially form SAP and SAP Fioneer, is a plus
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
