Role Purpose
Lead EMEA Prime product development with global accountability for Synthetic Prime platform strategy. Drive revenue growth through client-led product innovation while ensuring platform fit-for-purpose, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilitie
Strategic Partnership & Business Development
- Partner with Prime Business Leadership to align product strategy to business growth plans and revenue targets
- Evolve the Prime Platform to meet client demand and ensure fit-for-purpose capabilities
- Manage competing priorities across global Prime businesses and Corporate Functions, driving prioritization balancing growth, scale, regulatory requirements, and platform capacity
- Identify revenue opportunities, cost optimization, and operational efficiencies and deliver results
- Leverage business growth as the case for technology investment, building ROI-driven business cases
Product & Platform Leadership
- Global accountability for Synthetic Prime; Own end-to-end EMEA Prime product development
- Deep expertise: Equity Swaps, Synthetic Prime/Delta-1, Cash Prime, and Equity Financing
- Understand new business demands and translate into optimal F2B process and platform solutions, engaging Legal, Compliance, Operations and Finance teams
- Partner with Technology leadership and global platform teams to deliver scalable architecture
- Manage vendor platforms for Swap trade capture, matching, lifecycle management
Operational Excellence & Risk Management
- Champion operational risk reduction and improved regulatory compliance across Prime product suite
- Implement efficiency improvements and strengthen control frameworks across F2B processes
- Establish governance structures and accountability frameworks for product development and delivery
Stakeholder & Budget Management
- Independently face off to senior Business, Technology, and Control stakeholders
- Lead technology and resourcing budget planning, securing funding for strategic investments
- Communicate at all levels: technical depth to specialists; strategic updates to senior management
Essential Skills & Experience
Product Expertise
- Swap product expert with deep knowledge of Synthetic PB/Delta-1, Cash PB, and Equity Financing
- Strong knowledge of Global Synthetic Prime market practices, competitive landscape, and vendor platforms
- Proven experience of client engagement translating needs into product requirements
- Experience driving control improvements, designing risk frameworks and process optimization
- Strong F2B process knowledge; Middle Office experience highly advantageous
Leadership & Technology
- Senior operational track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in Equities/Prime
- Exceptional stakeholder management across Business, Technology, Operations, Control functions
- Independent operator facing off to senior leaders and technology budget committees
- Translate business growth into scalable platform capabilities and technology investments
- Ability to manage competing priorities and drive consensus across global businesses
Preferred Qualifications
- 15+ years financial markets experience with significant Prime Brokerage or Equity Finance tenure
- Direct Prime Brokerage product development experience at Tier 1 bank
- Cross-cultural leadership across multiple geographies and time zones (EMEA, APAC, Americas)
- Proven track record delivering complex platform transformation programs
High-impact role requiring deep product expertise, commercial acumen, independent leadership, and exceptional stakeholder management to drive business growth while ensuring operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
