Deine Position

As the Lead Tech Business Partner, you will be the assigned Tech counterpart for the holding/central employees at 1KOMMA5. This means that every 1KOMMA5 employee in the holding will know their Tech Business Partner by name, and have trust to include them in all technical discussions that improve their productivity. You are accountable for the holdings success.

The average day of a Lead Tech Business Partner

The role is divided into 3 key value areas

1. Tech Support on level 1, 2 and 3 tickets created by holding employees. The goal here is to be familiar with stakeholders for faster, more efficient turnaround. Tickets are not escalated, but are triaged and discussed to improve technical understanding and develop. You will also monitor queues for the other markets for urgent out of hours requests, and action them when necessary. Level 1 and 2 tickets may be delegated to working students in the team, with guidance and accountability.
2. Tech Projects - This refers to projects imposed by Employee Technology Platform product strategy such as rollout of Chrome OS and tool consolidations for the holding. This also refers to inbound projects imposed by holding teams (e.g. tailor onboarding experience, setup n8n flows).
3. Tech Consulting - Providing solutions using existing tools first, through enablement sessions. If no solutions exist, working with teams to technically own and benchmark new applications. There is a particular push to enable AI usage to boost productivity. This means any queries on how to use basic or advanced AI toolings would be directed to this role.

Your stakeholders will be part of your peer review cycle, in which the score will be based on user satisfaction with your support, project and consulting skills. It will also be used to monitor the user base's enablement, to ensure they know the basics of AI, how and where to create tickets etc.

Typical first 90 days - Specific to Lead Tech Business Partnering

1. Learn processes and take over support tickets for the business unit assigned to. Report on opportunities to optimize to reduce case load.
2. Proactively meet with all holding team leads, ideally in-person to introduce and explain the value and purpose of Tech Business Partners.
3. Take over IT onboarding sessions so that all newbies joining the holding know who their Tech Business Partner is from day one.
4. Take over leadership responsibilities of IC1-IC3 Tech Business Partners assigned to the holding

Dein Profil

• Minimum of 10+ years of proven professional experience in IT systems, systems engineering or a related field
• Experience with IT support ticketing best practices, and analysis
• Proven ability to lead a small and assertive team
• Proven ability to work both independently, and as part of a team on Technology related projects
• Profound knowledge of Google Workspace, Office 365, Mobile Device Management (JAMF and InTune) and other SaaS applications (Zoho CRM is a huge plus) surrounding employee productivity, collaboration and security
• Profound knowledge of AI tooling, specifically relating to employee productivity
• Understanding on how to utilize scripting to build bespoke functions. Experience with web-front end HTML, CSS, AppScript, Python and Cursor AI
• Understanding of the workings of cloud infrastructure and code deployment practices and discipline is a huge plus
• Generalist knowledge of office infrastructure (e.g. office WLAN)
• Comprehensive knowledge and proven disciplinary action of domain management
• Strong people skills, being able to persuade and consult non-technical stakeholders on technical solutions
• Ability to demonstrate methodology
• Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a security focus
• Relevant IT Bachelors or Masters degree - certifications related to MTD, MAM are a plus
• German and English written and verbal communication
• Willingness to travel primarily to 1KOMMA5 the other holding locations (Munich & Hamburg)
