Senior Business Change Consultant - Ireland

via Workable

At 4OC, we believe transformation should improve lives, not just processes.

For more than 12 years, we have partnered with organisations across local and central government, health, housing, the voluntary sector and organisations delivering public services to deliver meaningful, sustainable change.

Our work helps organisations make better use of public resources while ensuring the people delivering services, and the residents and communities who rely on them remain at the heart of every decision.

Our reputation has been built on delivering practical solutions that create lasting value. We don't believe in producing reports that sit on shelves. We work alongside our clients to design, deliver and embed change that makes a real difference.

As demand for our services continues to grow across Ireland, we are looking for an experienced Senior Business Change Consultant to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity to build your consulting career, work on high-profile transformation programmes and help shape better public services across Ireland.

The Role

As a Senior Business Change Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering transformation and business change programmes that improve services, deliver measurable benefits and create lasting value for our clients.

Working alongside experienced consultants and senior client stakeholders, you will help organisations understand complex challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and design practical solutions that make a real difference.

You will lead projects from discovery through to implementation, combining business analysis, project delivery and change management expertise to help clients achieve meaningful and sustainable outcomes.

This is a home-based role offering flexibility and autonomy, with regular travel to client sites across Ireland. We believe the strongest client relationships are built face-to-face, and you'll be encouraged to spend time with clients to understand their challenges, build trust and demonstrate the value that both you and 4OC bring.

No two days are the same. One week you may be facilitating workshops with senior leaders, the next developing business cases, analysing organisational challenges or supporting the implementation of new ways of working.

As our presence across Ireland continues to grow, you'll have the opportunity to play an important role in expanding our client relationships, building our reputation and contributing to the continued success of 4OC.

Benefits

Joining 4OC means becoming part of a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people.

We offer:

  • Salary of €66,000 to €75,000, depending on experience
  • Pension scheme
  • Time Off in Lieu (TOIL)
  • Discretionary annual bonus linked to the overall success of the business
  • Unlimited access to Udemy, giving you the freedom to develop new skills through thousands of online learning courses
  • Ongoing professional development, mentoring and career progression
  • A flexible home-based role with the opportunity to work closely with clients across Ireland
  • A collaborative and supportive culture where your ideas, expertise and contribution are recognised and valued.

What You'll Be Doing

Project Delivery

You'll successfully lead the delivery of client projects and workstreams, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope and to the high standards our clients expect.

You'll:

  • Develop and manage project plans, governance and reporting
  • Manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies
  • Deliver high-quality outputs that create measurable value
  • Support the successful delivery of wider transformation programmes
  • Act as a trusted day-to-day advisor to your clients.

You'll:

  • Develop practical change and engagement approaches
  • Support leaders and managers through organisational change
  • Produce compelling presentations and communication materials that tell the story
  • Help organisations adopt and embed new ways of working
  • Measure and demonstrate the benefits delivered through change.

Building Trusted Relationships

At 4OC, our reputation has been built on trusted relationships

You'll work closely with clients, taking time to understand their priorities, challenges and ambitions while providing honest advice and practical solutions

Business development is an important part of this role, but it isn't about cold calling or hard selling

Instead, you'll identify opportunities to add value by building trusted relationships, demonstrating your expertise and helping clients solve their challenges. You'll contribute to proposals and bids, helping to grow our business by delivering exceptional client outcomes and building long-term partnerships.

Supporting Our People

We believe our people are our greatest strength.

You'll:

  • Coach and support junior consultants
  • Share your knowledge and experience
  • Contribute to internal learning and development activities
  • Help improve our methodologies, products and consulting tools
  • Continue investing in your own learning and professional development.
