Trainer Specialist – APAC

About the Role

We’re looking for a Trainer Specialist to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for Stakeholder and Land Management Software customers, partners, and internal stakeholders across the APAC region.

You’ll be the face of product training and enablement in the region — delivering live and virtual sessions, creating self-serve learning content, and working cross-functionally to ensure training keeps pace with product releases.

This role requires someone who is comfortable working across multiple countries, time zones, and languages, with a passion for making complex software easy to learn.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver Training

• Lead live, in-person, and virtual onboarding and product training sessions for new and existing customers, partners, and resellers across APAC markets.
• Deliver engaging, practical training tailored to different audiences, including end users, administrators, partners, and resellers.
• Support customers throughout their learning journey to help drive product confidence, adoption, and successful outcomes.

Develop Learning Content

• Work closely with Product, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams to develop effective training materials.
• Create and maintain a range of learning resources, including user guides, videos, e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, and other self-serve content.
• Tailor learning materials to different audiences, roles, and levels of product knowledge.

Localize and Adapt Training

• Adapt training content and delivery approaches to reflect cultural, regional, and language differences across APAC markets.
• Ensure training is relevant and accessible to customers and partners across markets, including Australia and New Zealand.

Support Product Launches

• Partner with Product and Product Marketing teams to develop training plans for new features and product releases.
• Create and deliver training content ahead of product launches and go-live dates.
• Ensure customers, partners, and internal teams are prepared to confidently adopt new functionality.

Measure Training Effectiveness

• Track and report on training effectiveness using metrics such as certification completion rates, customer feedback, support ticket trends, and product adoption.
• Use insights and feedback to continuously improve training programs, content, and delivery methods.

Collaborate on the LMS

• Work with the Enablement team to maintain and update courses within the learning management system (LMS).
• Ensure training content remains accurate, current, accessible, and aligned with product changes.

Enable Internal Teams

• Train Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams on new features, product updates, and best practices.
• Equip internal teams with the knowledge and resources they need to confidently support and educate customers.

Gather and Share Feedback

• Act as a voice of the customer by identifying recurring training challenges, knowledge gaps, and content needs.
• Share insights and feedback with Product, Enablement, and other relevant teams to help improve the overall customer experience.

Scale Train-the-Trainer Programs

• Where applicable, develop and deliver train-the-trainer programs for partners and resellers.
• Certify partner and reseller trainers to independently deliver Stakeholder and Land Management Software training in their local markets.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of experience in training, enablement, customer education, instructional design, or a related role, ideally within a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience designing and delivering both live and virtual training, as well as self-paced e-learning content.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Comfortable working across APAC time zones, cultures, and diverse customer environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and content creation tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, and Loom.

Nice-to-Haves

• Additional language proficiency relevant to APAC markets.
• Experience delivering training for technical or workflow-based SaaS products.
• Experience working with partners or resellers in a train-the-trainer capacity.
• Familiarity with land management, stakeholder engagement, right-of-way, or utility industry software and workflows.

What Success Looks Like

• Customers and partners across APAC consistently provide strong feedback and ratings for onboarding and training experiences.
• Training content is accurate, current, and updated in line with major product releases.
• Support ticket volume related to “how-to” questions trends downward as customers increasingly adopt self-serve learning resources.
• Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams feel confident and well-equipped following product update and enablement training.
• Partners and resellers are able to independently deliver high-quality product training in their local markets where train-the-trainer programs are established.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is AUS $91,500. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include any other compensation components. Any offers made are dependent on factors including and not limited to experience, skills, and location.
