Legal Assistant - Residential
HCB Widdows Mason is seeking an enthusiastic and highly organized Legal Assistant to join our Residential Property team. This role is perfect for individuals interested in a career in property law and looking to support our team in delivering exceptional legal services to our clients.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Handling client inquiries and providing timely updates on residential property transactions.
- Managing the opening and closing of files in accordance with the firm’s regulatory and compliance standards.
- Conducting legal research related to residential property laws and regulations.
- Assisting solicitors in preparing documentation for property purchases and sales.
- Drafting legal documents, correspondence, and client communication.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation within our case management system.
- Performing general administrative tasks, including organizing files and scheduling meetings.
- Occasional reception duties when required.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in document preparation.
- A background in residential property law or related experience is preferred but not essential.
