Das erwartet dich
- Design und Entwicklung robuster PostgreSQL-Datenmodelle und -Architekturen für unsere SaaS-Plattformen
- Konzeption und Umsetzung von Data-Warehouse-Systemen und ETL-Strecken
- Performance-Optimierung von Datenbank-Queries und -Strukturen aus Entwicklungssicht
- Technische Begleitung von Produktmigrationen – etwa die Überführung einzelner Module und Komponenten auf eine PostgreSQL-Datenbank
- Mitgestaltung hybrider Datenbank-Landschaften (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server) im Rahmen von Cloud-Migrationen und Konsolidierungen
- Konzeption von Backup-, Recovery- und Disaster-Recovery-Strategien (z. B. mit pgBackRest, Barman oder EDB BART), Umsetzung in Abstimmung mit dem Betriebsteam
- Beratung von Kunden und Mentoring von Kolleginnen und Kollegen
- Aktive Mitwirkung in Architekturrunden
Das bringst du mit
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Datenbankentwicklung mit PostgreSQL: Datenmodellierung, Query-Optimierung, sehr gute SQL-Kenntnisse
- Erfahrung in der Konzeption von ETL-Prozessen und Data-Warehouse-Architekturen
- Verständnis für Hochverfügbarkeitskonzepte (z. B. Streaming Replication, Patroni, PgBouncer)
- Kenntnisse in CloudNativePG sowie Grundverständnis von Kubernetes im Datenbankkontext
- Idealerweise Erfahrung mit Microsoft SQL Server in hybriden Umgebungen
- Von Vorteil: Erfahrung mit Visualisierungstools für Datenbanken, z. B. Apache Superset
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (mind. C1)
