Modulr is backed by PayPal, FIS, General Atlantic, Blenheim Chalcot, Frog Capital and Highland Europe, with over 400 employees across London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam and Mumbai.</p> <p>Find out more about us on our&nbsp;<a href="https://www.modulrfinance.com/">website</a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href="https://www.modulrfinance.com/life-at-modulr">careers site</a>.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <p><strong>Data Analysis &amp; Strategic Insight</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the synthesis of complex, multi-source data to drive organisation-wide insight and shape high-level strategic decision-making.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Stakeholder Leadership &amp; Communication</strong></p> <ul> <li>Act as a trusted voice and influencer across the business, engaging stakeholders directly to shape organisational data strategy and decision-making.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Governance &amp; Strategy</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide strategic oversight of data management across Modulr, define governance standards and policy, and contribute to the long-term data strategy.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Quality &amp; Standards</strong></p> <ul> <li>Set and champion organisational standards for data modelling, quality assurance, validation, and enrichment — and develop best practice frameworks that others follow.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Data Visualisation &amp; Insight Communication</strong></p> <ul> <li>Set the standard for how we visualise and communicate data insights, leading the strategic direction of the practice across teams.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Team Leadership &amp; Mentoring</strong></p> <ul> <li>Mentor and develop analysts on the team, building capability and raising the quality of analytical work during a period of leadership transition.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who You Are</strong></p> <p><strong>What you'll need</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven experience operating at Principal, Lead or Senior Analyst level, ideally within fintech, payments or another regulated, data-intensive industry.</li> <li>A track record of translating complex data into insight that genuinely shapes data-driven decisions across an organisation.</li> <li>Deep expertise in data modelling, quality assurance and visualisation, with the confidence and judgement to set standards rather than just follow them.</li> <li>Strong statistical and analytical grounding — you're comfortable moving between hands-on analysis and strategic oversight.</li> <li>The ability to step into an established team and portfolio of work at short notice, with the confidence to keep initiatives moving without an extended ramp-up period.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Nice to have</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience mentoring and developing analytical teams, especially during periods of transition or change.</li> <li>Exposure to high-stakes, high-visibility data challenges in a fast-growing, regulated fintech or financial services business.</li> </ul> <p><strong>ModInclusion</strong></p> <p>At Modulr, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive team and fostering a culture where everyone can thrive.
