Senior Administrator
Te whiwhinga mahi: The opportunity
Are you an experienced administrator who enjoys being at the heart of a busy team and making sure things run smoothly?
We’re looking for a capable and confident senior administrator to join us on a full-time, fixed-term basis, providing parental leave cover though to July 2027. This is a great opportunity to step into an established role where your experience, sound judgement and ability to get things done will be valued from day one.
You’ll work across the business, supporting key meetings, keeping people connected and helping ensure our day-to-day processes are well organised and effective. We’re looking for someone who can quickly get up to speed, build strong working relationships and bring a calm, professional and proactive approach to the role.
If you’re highly organised, detail-focused and enjoy being the person others can rely on, we’d love to hear from you.
He kōrero mōu: About you
- At least three years’ experience in a similar senior administration role.
- Confident and accurate minute-taking skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong discretion and the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
- Initiative and good judgement, anticipating what’s needed and taking action.
- Strong Microsoft Office 365 skills and confidence using online meeting tools such as Teams and Zoom.
- Experience in the primary health care sector would be an advantage but is not essential.
Just as importantly, you’ll be someone who enjoys working collaboratively, communicates well with a range of people and takes pride in providing high-quality support.
Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou: What we offer
- A welcoming and supportive team where your contribution will be valued and the work you do will make a difference.
- The opportunity to step into a varied senior administration role and make a meaningful contribution during the fixed-term period.
- An organisation which strives to uphold the principles of partnership, participation and protection underpinned by Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- An environment that supports a happy, healthy and balanced workforce.
You’ll be joining an organisation that values the contribution of its kaimahi and the important role strong administration plays in enabling better healthcare for our communities.
Mō tō mātou rōpū: About the team
Pinnacle has made an explicit commitment to Māori and our communities to improve equity of health and wellbeing, in accordance with Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We have also made an equity commitment to our Pasifika population

Me pēhea te tuku tono: How to apply
Please reach out to Candice Snijman [email protected] to arrange a kōrero before you apply if that is what you need from this process.
We’ll be reviewing applications as they come in and may begin interviewing before the advert closes, so don’t wait to apply.
We would love to hear why you think you’re a great fit for this role — please include a cover letter that tells us a bit about you and what you’d bring to the team.
Applications close Friday, 5 September 2026.
