
AV Production Specialist

As an AV Production Specialist, you will be a critical part of supporting the technical aspects of Figma's internal events. As a member of the broader IT Team, the ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, customer service oriented, highly organized, and can adapt quickly when event schedules or technical needs change on short notice. This role will report directly to the AV Manager.
This is a full time role based in our SF Hub.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Coordinate and operate Figma's internal events, including setup, technical checks, and live event support
- Manage and operate PTZ cameras, microphones, and other AV equipment during live and hybrid events to ensure high production quality
- Provide real-time technical support to presenters, attendees, and stakeholders during events, with a focus on customer service and professionalism
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and our SF Hub Workplace team on event needs during weekly meetings
- Maintain Event SLO's with AV Manager and collaborate on documentation
- Troubleshoot issues as they arise in our All Hands space and conference rooms
- Perform routine conference room sweeps to ensure readiness, cleanliness, and functionality of AV systems
- Assist in provisioning and configuring new hardware (cameras, microphones, conferencing devices) for office builds and upgrades
- Maintain an organized inventory of AV equipment and recommend improvements to workflows, documentation, and processes
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 2+ years of experience in AV as it relates to live event production
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to stay calm and solution-oriented during live events
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and attention to detail
- Experience with event technologies like Zoom Webinar/Meeting, PTZ cameras, video switching systems, and audio mixing
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
- Familiarity with conference room systems (e.g. Logitech, Neat) and routine maintenance tasks such as firmware updates
- Experience or certifications with Q-Sys and Dante
Pay Transparency Disclosure
Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.

Exempt employees are eligible for employer‑provided paid flexible PTO in addition to flexible paid sick leave. PTO is subject to manager approval. Additional benefits may include company recharge days, cell phone and home internet reimbursements, and a number of lifestyle spending accounts. Figma also offers sales incentive compensation for most sales roles and an annual bonus plan for eligible non-sales roles. All compensation and benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and may be modified by Figma at any time, consistent with applicable law.
Annual Base Salary Range:$115,000—$221,000 USDAt Figma we celebrate and support our differences.
