Account Executive

Education PerfectSydney, AustraliaPosted 1h agoremote
via Workable

Education Perfect is a K–12 learning, assessment and analytics platform trusted by more than 50,000 teachers globally, helping educators deliver differentiated learning at scale. As an EPeep, you'll have the freedom, support and resources to do work that makes a real difference to students' lives.

We're looking for an Account Executive based in NSW to join our growing team and help more schools discover the impact our learning platform can have. This is a role for someone who enjoys connecting with people, uncovering opportunities and guiding schools through their decision making journey. You'll manage your own regional portfolio of schools, introducing educators and school leaders to EP, delivering engaging product demonstrations and helping schools successfully adopt our platform.

You'll own half of the NSW territory alongside one other Account Executive. A large share of the schools in your region are yet to discover EP, so this is a territory with substantial room to grow rather than one to simply maintain. If you're motivated by achieving results, enjoy hunting for new opportunities, working autonomously and want to make a genuine impact in education, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

Grow your portfolio

  • Build and manage a portfolio of schools across your region, identifying opportunities to introduce Education Perfect to new customers
  • Achieve sales targets by converting prospective schools into active EP customers
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and contribute to reliable forecasting through effective Hubspot CRM management

Build lasting relationships

  • Develop trusted relationships with school leaders, teachers and key decision-makers
  • Deliver engaging in person and virtual product demonstrations that showcase the value of Education Perfect
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions to help schools understand how EP can support their teaching and learning goals
  • Partner with our Customer Success and Solution Consultant teams to ensure every new school has a smooth onboarding experience and gets the best possible start

Share your insights

  • Keep up to date with education trends, customer feedback and competitor activity within your region
  • Share insights with our Product, Content and Revenue teams to help shape future improvements and better support schools

Collaborate across the business

  • Join a team of 8 Account Executives across Australia and New Zealand, within a wider Revenue team of around 60 people
  • Draw on the expertise of our Solutions Consultants, Customer Success, Account Managers, Revenue Operations and Revenue Administration teams to win and grow schools in your region
  • Work closely with Customer Success, Professional Services and other internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience from first conversation through to implementation

About you

You'll be someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a consultative sales environment and is motivated by achieving meaningful results. Success in this role is measured on pipeline coverage, conversion rates and quota attainment, measures that will already be familiar to you.

You'll also bring:

  • A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B, SaaS or education-focused environment. You've carried a number before and can talk to the conversion rates you've achieved
  • Strong organisational skills and experience managing a sales pipeline using CRM tools, with a clear sense of what healthy pipeline coverage looks like
  • Excellent relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with educators and school leaders
  • Experience delivering compelling product demonstrations, presentations or workshops
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to team success
  • An understanding of the education sector and the opportunities and challenges schools face (desirable)

Equitable opportunities, growth and development lie at the heart of how we work at EP. We understand that not all applicants may possess all the following attributes so if you think you have what it takes, but are not sure you check every box, we would love to still hear from you!

A few practical things: this is a field-based role, so you can expect travelling and visiting schools across your territory, including some regional travel and occasional overnight stays. You'll need a current driver's licence, a NSW Working With Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain one before you start) and full working rights in Australia.
