About the role
We have an opportunity for the role of Store Person in our Kinisla Agribusiness Team in Ennistymon, Co. Clare.
This role is for a full-time, permanent contract. Working hours are from 08:30 to 17:30, Monday to Friday, and from 08:30 to 13:00 on Saturdays.
As a Store Person, you will play a dynamic role, facing new challenges and opportunities every day. Your duties will include assisting customers, managing stock, and completing various store responsibilities. You will be supported by both your local store team and the larger company team, contributing to sales and ensuring product and service quality. Previous experience in sales, customer service, or roles like warehouse operative, forklift driver, store operative, or stock controller is advantageous. Familiarity with the agriculture sector is also beneficial. Training will be provided in product handling, forklift operation, manual handling, and chemical safety.
What will I be doing?
- Serving customers and dealing with product enquiries, both face to face and on the phone. Handling cash.
- Merchandising products in the store and yard.
- Keeping customers data safe and secure.
- Managing stock and deliveries. Keeping stock records in Oracle.
- Housekeeping within the store.
- Forklift duties - loading and unloading products like animal feeds, fertilizers, store goods.
- Following health and safety guidelines.
- Supporting store manager and other team members.
