Senior Product Marketing Manager

SoSafeCologne, ItalyPosted 2h agoonsite
via Arbeitnow

SoSafe is shifting from a broad-market approach to a deliberate, segment-led GTM model. This role is central to that transition. As Manager of Segment & Solutions Marketing, you will own the positioning, messaging, and solution architecture for SoSafe's priority segments. These can be defined by geography, industry vertical, customer lifecycle stage, or Human Risk maturity.

We have a foundation to build from: a defined maturity model that maps how organisations progress in their Human Risk journey, a growing understanding of how customer needs differ across lifecycle stages and a set of priority markets and geographies. What we don't yet have is the messaging, the plays, and the product experience layer that makes those segments feel served

Your role is to and translate that work into measurable improvements in win rates, market penetration, and net revenue retention. This is a newly created role in Product Marketing that you’ll have influence to shape and will work in close partnership with GTM, Product, Sales, CS, and the Commercial Centre of Excellence.

Location: This role can be fully remote from anywhere in Germany, or hybrid from one of our offices in Cologne, Munich or Berlin.

Segmented Messaging

  • Own messaging for defined priority segments — including lifecycle stage (new business, upsell, cross-sell, retention), maturity tier, geography, and industry vertical (e.g. financial services, manufacturing)

  • Develop segment-specific value propositions written in buyer language: the situation they face, the consequence of inaction, how SoSafe solves it, and why SoSafe over alternatives without jargon, no feature lists

  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, messaging iteration, persona development, and competitive synthesis as a standard part of your workflow

  • Maintain and evolve messaging as product capabilities, customer insights, and the competitive landscape shift — keeping SoSafe's market fit current and differentiated

  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive dynamics to proactively inform segment strategy and portfolio planning

Solution Development

  • Define solution sets for priority segments: which SoSafe capabilities address their most pressing needs, framed around business outcomes rather than product features

  • Process voice-of-customer research, win/loss data, competitive intelligence, and regulatory context into compelling segment narratives and solution architectures

  • Partner with the Commercial CoE to inform pricing, packaging, bundling, and programme decisions — contributing market and segment evidence to commercial recommendations that drive share within defined segments

GTM Readiness

  • Develop SPICED-aligned talk tracks for each priority segment, grounding rep conversations in the buyer's situation before working back to solution language

  • Build and maintain a library of scalable, reusable field assets e.g. solution briefs, demo scripts, battle cards, objection-handling guides, buyer and implementation guides — leveraging AI to produce, iterate, and personalise at speed

  • Validate messaging and demo content before market release through structured rep feedback sessions, customer interviews, and early cohort exposure

  • Input into coordinated multi-touch plays across Marketing, Sales, and CS that drive upsell and cross-sell into the install base — with clear pipeline and NRR impact metrics tied to each play

  • Track asset utilisation, field feedback, and segment performance data (win rates, pipeline velocity, NRR contribution) to continuously improve GTM effectiveness and demonstrate commercial impact

What you will bring

  • 5+ years in B2B SaaS in product marketing, solutions marketing or segment marketing with a proven track record of producing segment-specific or lifecycle-specific positioning

  • Demonstrated ability to write in buyer language: situation, problem, solution, outcome - not functional feature lists

  • Proficiency with competitive intelligence tools and a bias towards activating insight into sales & field-facing content, enriching the quality of their conversations

  • Proven AI fluency: you use AI tools daily to compress research cycles, pressure-test messaging, generate content variations, and move from insight to asset faster than a traditional workflow allows

  • Strong cross-functional operating skills, able to align Product, Sales, CS, and Commercial stakeholders around a segment strategy and drive execution

Preferred

  • Experience in cybersecurity, HR tech or a similarly technical B2B environment

  • Experience defining or contributing to solution sets and commercial packaging, not just messaging deliverables.

  • Background in structured pre-launch validation: rep councils, messaging test sessions, early cohort feedback

What we offer*

  • Work/Life balance: Flexible hours, 33 vacation days, and parental leave support

  • Wellbeing and financial support: Access to Open Up, Corporate Discounts, Wellbeing & Fitness Benefits

  • Connection & community: Virtual events, collaborative team activities, and opportunities for local meet-ups

  • And the list goes on: Tech equipment, referral bonuses, an individual development budget, dog-friendly HQ

*Perks and benefits listed above are for full-time employees and may vary slightly by office location. These are just a sample — you'll learn more during the interview process.
