Come and join our dynamic People and High Performance team in a role where you can make a real difference for leaders and kaimahi we support. As a trusted partner, you will work closely with leaders across your supported business groups, providing high-quality, pragmatic, and best-practice advice, coaching, and support across all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
Working in a complex, high-pace, and evolving environment, you will build strong relationships and collaborate with leaders, colleagues, and key stakeholders to enable great people outcomes. You will contribute to workforce planning and establishment management, culture and engagement development, performance, and capability initiatives, and support the delivery of organisational change.
As part of a team that is continuing to evolve and shape its future, you will have the opportunity to bring ideas, challenge thinking, and help improve the way we work. Your generalist HR expertise, collaborative style, and ability to influence and partner effectively will be key to helping us build a trusted, responsive, and high-performing People and High Performance function. You will be an efficient and effective HR Professional that builds relationships with key stakeholders and provide pragmatic HR advice and support. Experience in providing positive, resilient, practical trusted partnering along with a healthy sense of humour.
Some other key requirements of the role include but not limited to: * Understand HR best practice, process and policies * An exceptional eye for detail * Working knowledge of current NZ employment law and HR practices * Ability to deliver clear messaging to different audiences * Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture. Oranga Tamariki offer a step based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure. Annual remuneration for this position starts between $106,416 and $117,782 dependant on experience.
