About the role

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Salesforce Developer. In this role, the successful candidate will:

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Salesforce solutions to support business objectives across various business units.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
  • Administer and support the Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) platform, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user adoption.
  • Configure Salesforce features including objects, fields, validation rules, flows, reports, dashboards, profiles, permission sets, and security controls.
  • Develop and support integrations between Salesforce and internal and external systems using APIs, middleware, and third-party solutions.
  • Support system releases, deployments, testing activities, and change management processes.
  • Ensure Salesforce solutions comply with IT governance, security standards, data protection requirements, and financial services regulatory obligations.
  • Produce and maintain accurate technical documentation, solution designs, configuration documentation, and user guides.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise business processes through automation, improved data management, and enhanced user experiences.

About You

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working as a Salesforce Developer, including hands-on experience with Financial Services Cloud (FSC) or Service Cloud.
  • Proven experience delivering Salesforce solutions in a regulated financial services environment.
  • Strong capability in building Salesforce solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex triggers, and Flow-based automation.
  • Proven ability to develop scalable solutions for high-volume data processing using Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, and asynchronous processing patterns.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting and enhancing business-critical production environments, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Understanding of Agile delivery frameworks and modern Salesforce DevOps practices, including Git-based source control, release management, automated deployments, and CI/CD processes.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Salesforce Certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator would be advantageous.
  • Relevant third-level degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
