Inside Sales Specialist
Every pint of beer, bottle of soft drink and batch of food product depends on getting filtration right. That is where we come in - and we are looking for a driven, commercially minded Inside Sales Specialist to help more customers discover the difference our consumable filtration products can make.
- Competitive base salary of £28,000 - £32,000
- On-target earnings of £36,000 - £42,000, with an accelerating commission scheme that keeps rewarding you as you over-achieve
- 6 month FTC with real potential for permanent role
This is a remote role built around relationships and recurring business. You will manage your own base of customers across brewing, soft drinks, food and beverage, manufacturing and wider industry, helping them solve real filtration challenges with our filter cartridges, bags and sheets. If you have the sales instinct and the drive, we will give you the product knowledge to succeed - full technical training is provided from day one.
About Envirogen
Envirogen is a specialist water treatment and process filtration business, working with customers across the UK, Europe and North America. Our products keep critical processes clean, compliant and running - from the drinks in your fridge to the industries that make everyday life possible. As we continue to grow, we are investing in the people who will help us reach more customers than ever before.
What you will be doing
- Generate new opportunities through outbound calls, Microsoft Teams meetings and email
- Build genuine, lasting relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify each customer’s filtration needs and recommend the right products
- Secure product trials and demonstrations that turn into long-term supply agreements
- Grow existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling
- Convert enquiries and quotations into repeat orders and recurring revenue
- Keep an accurate, healthy pipeline in our CRM system
- Work closely with our field sales, technical and operations teams to deliver a first-class customer experience
- Hit - and beat - your monthly, quarterly and annual targets
This role would be a good fit if you
- Enjoy being on the phone - starting conversations gives you a buzz rather than a knot in your stomach
- Get a genuine kick out of winning new business and turning a "maybe" into a "yes"
- Are motivated by targets and love watching your commission climb as you hit them
- Can take a "no" on the chin and move straight on to the next opportunity
- Would rather build long-term relationships than chase one-off transactions
- Are curious enough to enjoy learning how technical products work and why they matter
- Are self-motivated and organised enough to thrive working remotely
What we are looking for
- Proven success in a business-to-business sales role, ideally selling industrial, technical or engineered products
- A track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
- Confidence developing relationships and growing accounts by phone and on Teams
- Strong commercial awareness and comfortable negotiating
- Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
- Comfortable getting to grips with technical products and explaining them simply
- Confident using CRM systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel and Teams
- GCSE Maths and English at grade 4 / C or above, or equivalent
- A full UK driving licence is helpful for the occasional customer visit
- No degree required - we care about attitude, drive and results. Full product and application training is provided.
What is in it for you
- Competitive base salary of £28,000 - £32,000
- On-target earnings of £36,000 - £42,000, with an accelerating commission scheme that keeps rewarding you as you over-achieve
- Full technical training on our product range and filtration applications
- The freedom of a remote role with the backing of an established, growing group
- Competitive base salary of £28,000 - £32,000
- On-target earnings of £36,000 - £42,000, with an accelerating commission scheme that keeps rewarding you as you over-achieve
