Competitive Salary & Benefits
Fixed Term Contract – 12 months

At Marshalls plc, we believe building tomorrow's world starts with what we can create together today. Since the 1890s, we've grown from a Yorkshire stone business into a leading UK manufacturer of building, roofing and landscaping solutions. Today, we support the people who design, build and maintain the homes, schools, hospitals, streets and infrastructure that communities across the UK rely on. Built on generations of expertise, we're known for quality, innovation and sustainability, helping our customers bring their vision to life and create places that work today and last for generations. We're proud of our heritage, excited by what's next and committed to helping our colleagues grow, develop and make a real difference. Together, we're building tomorrow's world.

Our operations are organised into three distinct divisions: Landscape Products, Building Products, and Roofing Products. Our marketing team are the champions of the Marshalls brand, bringing our products, services and innovations to life through impactful campaigns, strategic communications, events and digital marketing. With a deep understanding of our customers and markets, they play a vital role in driving growth, strengthening our brands and supporting our commercial ambitions.

We're looking for an experienced Marketing Business Partner to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract covering maternity leave, taking ownership of marketing delivery for our Mortars & Screeds and Aggregates & Blocks business units.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially minded B2B marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. With the marketing strategy and plans already established, you'll focus on bringing campaigns to life, optimising performance and ensuring marketing activity delivers against commercial objectives.

So, what's the mission?
You'll lead the execution and optimisation of integrated marketing campaigns across our Mortars & Screeds and Aggregates & Blocks businesses.

Working closely with sales and central marketing teams, you'll deliver marketing campaigns that drive demand, generate opportunities, strengthen customer relationships and support growth. You'll combine creativity with commercial thinking, using performance insights and data to continually refine activity and maximise return.

Success in this role will come from your ability to work at pace, maintain momentum across multiple projects and confidently adapt campaign tactics based on performance against commercial KPIs.

You'll play a key role in ensuring our marketing activity remains customer-focused, data-driven and aligned to business priorities by:

  • Campaign delivery and execution
  • Digital and data-driven marketing
  • Stakeholder collaboration
  • Budget and performance management
  • Market awareness and customer engagement

The successful candidate will own campaign delivery, ensuring activities are executed effectively across channels and deliver measurable results. They'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across sales, technical and wider marketing teams and use data, insights and market intelligence to continuously optimise campaign performance and support business growth.

What are the mission-critical skills?

  • Proven B2B product marketing experience with a strong commercial and revenue-focused approach
  • Significant experience in a senior marketing, marketing business partner, or similar strategic marketing role
  • Track record of delivering integrated, ROI-driven B2B marketing campaigns
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align marketing activity to business growth and revenue objectives
  • Advanced analytical skills, including GA4, CRM, campaign reporting, and data-driven optimisation
  • Strategic mindset combined with hands-on campaign planning, execution, and delivery
  • Expertise in lead generation, demand creation, and customer journey management within B2B markets
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience managing paid media, digital marketing channels, and external agency partners
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and drive action

Highly desirable: Experience within construction, manufacturing, building products, or other relevant B2B product-led industries
