<p><strong>Senior Conference &amp; Events Manager-</strong></p> <p data-path-to-node="1">We are looking for the master of the "big picture" who also happens to have the eye for detail. As our <strong data-path-to-node="1" data-index-in-node="101">Senior Conference &amp; Events Manager&nbsp;</strong>you'll be the go to for all things operations and events. This isn't just about ticking boxes; it’s about leading the charge in creating seamless, "wow" moments for our clients and their guests while keeping the engine room running like a well-oiled machine.</p> <p data-path-to-node="2">From the high-stakes energy of live corporate events to the behind-the-scenes magic of maintenance, you’ll be the go-to leader making sure every square inch of our space shines. Whilst we work in the world of events our operations are usually Monday-Friday, flexibility is key in our world!&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>What We Look For:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Commercial &amp; financial management: </strong><br>Assisting in the running a profitable venue to help towards the company vision</li> <li><strong>Operational management: </strong><br>Understanding and managing the Client Service and Conference Service departments and teams</li> <li><strong>Client management: </strong><br>Maintaining excellent client relations to ensure a successful venue</li> <li><strong>Leadership: </strong><br>Build and maintain an excellent team to deliver the best service</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <p><strong>Day to day operations:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Overall responsibility for the Events Operations</li> <li>Responsible for the Events operations team and Conference Services Team in all aspects of the operation</li> <li>Manage the external cleaning contract with monthly review and consistent monitoring</li> <li>Manage and drive forward the yearly, monthly and unplanned maintenance requirements</li> <li>Ensure that each department works to maintain the highest standards of delivery and customer service in accordance with the company’s standards of performance policy</li> <li>Constantly monitor and review of Front of House operations systems, implementing improvements as appropriate</li> <li>To review and manage the Health &amp; Safety of the venue</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Direct management of the Events operations team and Conference Services Team and oversee staff rotas</li> <li>To ensure effective communication between all FOH departments and with the wider venue</li> </ul> <p><strong>Looking after our guests:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver the highest levels of customer service across all events&nbsp;</li> <li>Constantly seek and monitor client feedback, ensuring that records are being kept up to date</li> <li>Manage and act upon feedback by providing action plans for improvement</li> <li>To ensure any complaints are dealt with professionally</li> <li>To achieve 90% result in Venue Verdict customer feedback and 9-10 Net Promoter score</li> </ul> <p><strong>Looking after the purse strings:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Possess a clear understanding of the company business plan and be responsible for ensuring that all targets relating to FOH are keep in line with the overall objectives</li> <li>Ensure that all tracking and stock control systems are in place with effective stock rotation and monthly counts</li> <li>Control purchases order systems with operations</li> <li>Manage all invoicing and inventory</li> <li>Labour management, ensuring we have the right people in the right places&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Who We Are:</strong></p> <p>Convene is a global hospitality company that manages a growing portfolio of lifestyle brands focused on revolutionizing the way people meet, work, and gather.&nbsp; It creates hospitality-driven experiences and uniquely designed destinations across its various brands with the singular mission of fostering human-to-human connection.
