The Senior Account Manager will report directly to the Director of Sales UK.</p> <p><strong>SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER</strong></p> <p><strong>What You’ll Do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Consistently exceed revenue targets through strategic sales and account management efforts, aligning with broader commercial objectives.</li> <li>Cultivate relationships in managed accounts, aiming to elevate them to the Regional/Enterprise level or identify opportunities for MSAs across the global portfolio.</li> <li>Drive new revenue growth by capitalising on opportunities in the experiential events market.</li> <li>Serve as a go-to expert on Convene product offerings, including meetings and technology solutions, and translate product features into functional client solutions.</li> <li>Maintain an engaging sales presence, both in person and virtually.</li> <li>Demonstrate thorough knowledge of competitors, articulating the Convene story and differentiation.</li> <li>Grow demand through strategic account development, expanding your network of contacts, and building long-term relationships.</li> <li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Convene products and locations, contributing to local and regional brand building.</li> <li>Understand the local, regional, and global business plan to ensure personal targets align with overall sales objectives.</li> <li>Share market intelligence and industry trends with the Senior Leadership team.</li> <li>Conduct and coordinate site inspections, virtual tours, client meetings, and quarterly business reviews for key accounts.</li> <li>Discover and build relationships with new decision-makers, while nurturing current and prospective clients and referral partners.</li> <li>Respond rapidly to client inquiries and maintain up-to-date account details for key accounts.</li> <li>Negotiate and close agreements, adhering to internal pricing guidelines while ensuring client specifications are met.</li> <li>Stay informed of competitive landscape and maintain relationships with industry counterparts.</li> <li>Attend trade shows, networking sessions, and events to prospect for new business.</li> <li>Exceed budgeted financial goals for both quarterly and annual targets.</li> <li>Cultivate relationships with allocated key accounts through consultative sales efforts to achieve and surpass commercial goals.</li> <li>Own and manage a portfolio of accounts based on location, volume, and spend.</li> <li>Target and secure new business to increase market share across the global portfolio of brands and products.</li> <li>Secure repeat business from allocated accounts, ensuring long-term client satisfaction and retention.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Look For:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in a commercial role within the UK meetings and events industry</li> <li>Proven track record in selling to London’s corporate and agency markets</li> <li>Knowledge of experiential events across business and consumer markets</li> <li>Exceptional networking abilities and relationship-building sales skills</li> <li>Capable of working independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment</li> <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>We’re Here For You - </strong>At Convene, you’ll receive:</p> <p>Health and Wellness</p> <ul> <li>Private medical insurance</li> <li>Subsidised eye care</li> <li>Subsidised fitness membership</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program: well-being support and personal advice programme</li> </ul> <p>Time Off and Work-Life Balance</p> <ul> <li>25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and company sick pay</li> <li>Financial Support and Benefits</li> <li>Bonus scheme</li> <li>Interest-free loan for rail season tickets &amp; further education</li> <li>Subsidised bicycle purchase through Cycle to Work scheme</li> </ul> <p>Professional Development and Recognition</p> <ul> <li>Continuous professional and personal development support</li> <li>Employee recognition and reward programs to mark achievements and milestones</li> </ul> <p>Community and Impact</p> <ul> <li>Opportunities to volunteer, donate, and participate in community give-back initiatives</li> <li>The opportunity to have a significant impact on your team and the business in the work that you do</li> </ul> <p>#LI-CD1</p>
