About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Front Office Manager to lead our Front Office at Monarto Safari Resort. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads by example, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences at Monarto Safari Resort and Safari Lodge.
Reporting directly to the Director of Guest Experience, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office departments while leading and developing your team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading daily Front Office operations and ensuring smooth guest arrivals and departures
- Driving exceptional guest service and handling escalations professionally
- Managing team performance, recruitment, training, and development
- Rostering and payroll management
- Ensuring compliance with hotel procedures and service standards
- Supporting reservations and operational coordination across departments
- Maintaining strong communication with all operational departments
- Working closely with senior leadership to achieve operational and financial goals
About You
You will possess a deep understanding of the hotel industry, with previous experience in a senior position, ideally within a similar establishment. Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS) would be advantageous. You will have a collaborative working style, be highly organised, detail-oriented with excellent problem solving skills. A strong emphasis on continuous improvement is crucial to ensure the highest quality and distinctive service, fostering an engaged, skilled, and motivated team.

- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue growth.
- A passion for delivering exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
