With strong communication skills and a consultative approach, you’re comfortable engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and translating them into effective outcomes. 

The Role:

We are looking for a motivated Junior Solution Architect to join our consulting and delivery team. This is an excellent opportunity for a developer, engineer, or technical professional looking to progress into solution architecture and consulting. You will work alongside experienced architects and delivery teams to understand client requirements, contribute to solution design, and help deliver scalable, secure, and practical technology solutions. The role will involve technical design, stakeholder engagement, documentation, and supporting architecture decisions across a range of projects.

Key Experience

• Support senior architects in designing end-to-end technology solutions.
• Liaise with clients, business stakeholders, developers, and delivery teams to understand requirements.
• Participate in technical discovery sessions, workshops, and client meetings.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and architecture designs.
• Create and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and solution proposals.
• Research technologies and provide recommendations based on project requirements.
• Support technical assessments, estimates, and solution planning.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and integration requirements.
• Work with engineering, cloud, security, and DevOps teams throughout project delivery.
• Develop an understanding of architecture standards, design patterns, and best practices.
• Support senior architects in presenting technical solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a software development, engineering, infrastructure, or technical role.
• Good understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, and application development.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of REST APIs, microservices, integrations, and distributed systems.
• Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, Git, and modern development practices.
• Understanding of at least one programming language such as Ruby, Java, Python, Node.js, or .NET.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A willingness to learn and develop into a senior architecture and consulting role.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment.
• Experience creating architecture diagrams using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
• Exposure to Terraform, Kubernetes, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or API gateways.
• Understanding of security, networking, scalability, and system performance.
• Cloud or architecture certifications.
