About the role: We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer who has a curious mind and is ready to delve deeper into the world of Salesforce development and its best practices. In In this role, you will develop and enhance our Salesforce platform across multiple clouds. You will work on complex projects spanning Automotive Cloud, Data Cloud, Service Cloud and Marketing Cloud, and contribute to integrations with external systems (including MuleSoft). You will be expected to write high-quality Apex code and Lightning components, participate in the full development lifecycle, and help streamline our release management process. As a team member, you will also promote Salesforce development best practices. To achieve this, we expect you to have solid experience as a Salesforce Developer. Your responsibilities include: Develop and modify Apex classes, triggers, Salesforce metadata and automation (Flows / Process Builder) to meet business requirements. Build user interface components using configuration and Lightning Web Components (LWC). Ensure all development is done with attention to scalability and follows best practice patterns (bulkified code, proper error handling, etc.) Work closely with our Salesforce Tech Lead / Architect to understand requirements in each cloud and implement appropriate Salesforce capabilities or integrations to meet those needs Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following Salesforce best practices. Maintain thorough code documentation and create robust Apex test classes to ensure high test coverage for all custom development. Perform peer code reviews and refactor code as needed to improve quality Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, databases, marketing platforms) using MuleSoft or REST / SOAP APIs Stay updated on the Salesforce platform enhancements and best practices. Continuously learn and improve your development skills by leveraging the experience of senior team members and taking advantage of Salesforce training resources. Proactively identify opportunities to optimize existing code or configurations Collaborate with other team members to design solutions that meet business needs. Participate in code reviews, actively seek feedback, and implement improvements based on review comments. Participate in team meetings, validate and refine requirements, propose feasible approaches, and provide accurate development estimates Our requirements: Min. 2 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (closer to 5 or more than 5 years’ for a senior position). Strong skills in Apex programming (writing triggers, asynchronous Apex, etc.) and Lightning Web Components (LWC), as well as a solid understanding of the Salesforce object model and query languages (SOQL / SOSL). Proven track record of participation in successful end-to-end Salesforce development projects – at least one project for an enterprise client, ideally automotive or manufacturing Experience working with Sales Cloud and at least general exposure to Salesforce Industries development and configuration. Able to understand how Data Cloud works in cooperation with other Salesforce solutions, especially Agentforce Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in the Salesforce environment. Deep understanding of Salesforce development best practices (governor limits, bulkification, security / sharing considerations). Committed to writing test classes and maintaining high code coverage Salesforce Platform Developer I certificate is required. Working towards Platform Developer II (expected for a senior position) or other certifications will be an asset Advanced knowledge of English (B2 / C1) Proficiency with SF CLI and version control (Git) Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably GitHub Actions) for automated deployments and AI solutions for code analysis and development i.e. unit tests. Familiarity with packaging and deployment strategies (change sets, unlocked packages, etc.) Strong knowledge of integration frameworks and tools, including MuleSoft or equivalent experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP web services, and middleware Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team. Comfortable asking questions and sharing progress or blockers. Detail-oriented and capable of translating functional requirements into technical tasks with guidance.
