As our workload continues to grow, we are looking for skilled and motivated Excavator Operators to join our team. If you are a professional operator who takes pride in your work, values safety, and enjoys working alongside experienced crews on meaningful projects, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Safely and efficiently operate Excavator as it applies to loading trucks, cut to fill, trenching, ditching, sloping, etc.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and complete pre-trip and post-trip documentation.
- Conduct routine maintenance and identify mechanical concerns.
- Read grades, stakes, plans, and site instructions.
- Work closely with Foremen, Gradepersons, Labourers, and Project Teams.
- Maintain production while ensuring quality workmanship.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Contribute to a positive, professional team environment.
- Minimum of 5+ years experience operating Excavator.
- Experience operating multiple types of machinery is considered an asset.
- Ability to interpret survey stakes accurately.
- Physically able to meet job demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Capable of adapting to varying job site conditions and challenges.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.
- CSTS and Ground Disturbance certification are a condition of employment.
Pre-Employment Requirements
Successful candidates may be required to complete and pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test as a condition of employment.
