Your Role & Team
The Account Manager plays a critical role in driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR) across an existing portfolio of customers. This role is accountable for contract renewals, value-led upsell, and product adoption, ensuring customers realise ongoing value from CreditorWatch’s solutions while strengthening long-term retention and new product adoption.
The Account Executive owns commercial outcomes post-sale, acting as the primary commercial contact for renewals and expansion. You will identify growth opportunities through usage, Apply Easy adoption and portfolio needs, while partnering closely with BDMs to convert qualified opportunities.
Your impact is measured through strong renewal performance, controlled churn, and consistent portfolio expansion, contributing directly to CreditorWatch’s NRR outcomes.
This role reports directly to the Sales Manager and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Sydney CBD office.
Some of your responsibilities include and are not limited to:
- Owning contract renewals across an assigned portfolio, including renewal conversations, pricing discussions and contract execution.
- Driving upsell and expansion through usage-led conversations, Apply Easy adoption and multi-product penetration.
- Identifying, qualifying and passing Collect opportunities to Collect BDMs, ensuring clean handover and strong collaboration.
- Communicating with customers to understand their needs and clearly articulate product value across the CreditorWatch portfolio.
- Building trusted relationships with customers, positioning CreditorWatch as a long-term commercial partner.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date knowledge of CreditorWatch products and services.
- Responding to customer needs and requirements in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintaining strong CRM hygiene to support accurate forecasting of renewals and expansion activity.
Our ideal candidate
To be successful in the role, you’ll ideally have at least 3+ years sales experience as an Account Manager within the tech/ SaaS space, managing a portfolio of approx. 200 customers.
You’ll be nurturing in your approach and have a way with customers, showcasing your amazing problem solving, active listening and communication skills. Experience working in shorter sales-cycles of 2 weeks and under would be a huge advantage.
