Within this portfolio, the Clinical Specialist serves as the clinical and technical resource for navigation and imaging solutions, partnering with healthcare professionals to optimise technology adoption, procedural workflows, and patient care outcomes. The role supports product implementation, clinical case coverage, customer education, and ongoing technical support across hospitals and healthcare institutions. This position is based in Singapore and follows an onsite work model, requiring regular presence at customer facilities and operating theatre environments. Occasional travel may be required to support customer needs, training activities, and business initiatives within the region. The Clinical Specialist provides clinical, technical, and application support for navigation and imaging technologies used in surgical procedures. This role works closely with physicians, operating room personnel, radiology teams, and other healthcare professionals to support product utilisation, training, troubleshooting, and customer satisfaction while serving as a trusted resource for enabling technologies. **Primary Responsibilities** + Provide on-site consulting, guidance and assistance to physicians and OR personnel by evaluating options and problem-solving during surgery in order to maximize IGS (Image Guided Surgery) product efficiency and usage + Analyze, resolve and repair product issues through detailed analysis and utilization of engineering expertise + Direct and assist Radiology staff in performing necessary scans prior to surgery + Educate/train physicians and hospital personnel, including OR staff, Radiology, Central Sterile Processing, Biomedical and Information Technologies staff, on the use of IGS products and services + Develop and conduct training programs for hospital staff enabling them to implement in-house training + Act as primary customer liaison, maintaining contact with customer, assessing satisfaction and usage levels, and working to increase revenue via the sale of spare parts, upgrades, etc. + Work closely with the Senior Application Consultant, Area Account Manager, Key Account Manager and Marketing Manager on market transparency, upgrade initiatives and R&D projects + Attend meetings and trade shows to demonstrate and promote IGS products and services + Keep abreast of developments regarding Medtronic and competitive IGS products and services via ongoing training and individual research and analysis + Perform other duties and responsibilities as required **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science, Medical Technology, Nursing, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Engineering, or a related technical discipline with 1-3 years of clinical, technical support, healthcare technology, or medical device experience. + Experience delivering customer-facing support, training, or clinical education within a healthcare environment. + Ability to work in operating theatre and hospital environments, including after-hours and weekend support as business needs require. + Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with healthcare professionals and cross-functional stakeholders. + Ability to travel occasionally to support customer, training, and business activities. **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience supporting medical devices, surgical navigation, imaging, or image-guided surgery technologies. + Knowledge of human anatomy, surgical workflows, and operating room practices. + Experience providing application support, product troubleshooting, or technical field service within the healthcare industry. + Experience delivering hands-on training programmes for physicians, nurses, radiology staff, or other healthcare professionals. + Familiarity with hospital information systems, radiology workflows, or advanced healthcare technology platforms. **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.? ? **Recruitment Fraud Alert** We are aware of phishing scams targeting job seekers.
