About the Opportunity
We have multiple opportunities available for friendly, confident, and service-focused Cruise Attendants to join our team aboard the Spirit of Migloo on Sydney Harbour. This is an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in a premium hospitality environment and enjoy creating memorable guest experiences in a unique marine setting.
About the Role
As a Cruise Attendant, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality food and beverage service, welcoming guests, supporting passenger safety, maintaining vessel presentation and contributing to a smooth and enjoyable cruise experience. You will work closely with the Cruise Director, marine, kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure every guest receives warm, professional and attentive service from boarding through to departure.
Key duties include:
- Greeting and assisting guests throughout service
- Taking and processing orders
- Serving food and beverages, encouraging upsell of add-on products
- Making and serving cocktails
- Supporting cash handling processes
- Keeping service and dining areas clean

We're also looking for the right person to step into our Cruise Supervisor opportunity, supporting service delivery and leading the team on board during our Cruise Director's days off. This role will help oversee the guest experience, bar and food service, stock standards, safety compliance, and crew presentation. It’s ideal for someone ready to take their next step in hospitality management, providing calm, positive leadership during each charter.
- Valid NSW Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Competency Card
- Food Safe Handling certification (or willing to complete a free, online course)
- Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service or a similar customer-facing role
- Strong cash handling, stock rotation and service area presentation skills
- Ability to work irregular hours, extended shifts and in a marine environment
- Confidence working on your feet, in confined spaces and around wet or slippery surfaces
Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate high service standards, along with how reliable and proactive they are. They'll be hospitality professionals who enjoy engaging with guests and working as part of a close-knit team. They'll communicate clearly, remain calm under pressure, and take pride in delivering a premium service. Successful candidates will bring a strong team ethic, excellent interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude, with the ability to create a welcoming experience for guests from all over Australia and the world!
