About the role
The Talent Acquisition Partner (Commercial / Go-To-Market) is responsible for delivering high-quality, end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of strategically important roles at Fenergo. This is a hands-on business-partnering role, with responsibility for helping hiring managers define what good looks like, developing targeted search strategies, engaging and assessing talent, and supporting strong, evidence-based hiring decisions.
The role will manage multiple roles across our client-facing teams including sales, marketing, pre-sales, client success and other teams as required, supporting hiring across Europe, the US and APAC.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced recruitment practitioner and trusted advisor — someone who combines strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills with structured assessment, sound judgement and the confidence to challenge hiring managers constructively. They will play an important role in embedding Fenergo’s more structured, evidence-led recruitment model and raising the quality and consistency of hiring across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end recruitment for a portfolio of priority roles across functions and geographies, typically managing multiple active searches at a time.
- Run structured intake meetings with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, success outcomes, candidate profiles and assessment criteria.
- Develop targeted search strategies, map relevant talent pools and personally source and engage high-quality passive candidates proactively.
- Conduct structured candidate screening and interviews, assessing candidates against agreed criteria and demonstrated evidence.
- Produce clear candidate summaries, calibration materials and recommendations that help hiring teams make informed, evidence-based decisions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers throughout the process, providing market insight, challenging unclear or unrealistic requirements and supporting candidate calibration.
- Own the candidate experience from initial engagement through interview, decision and offer, ensuring clear communication and strong process management.
- Maintain accurate pipelines, scorecards, reporting and ATIS discipline while proactively identifying and resolving search blockers.
- Help embed and continuously improve Fenergo’s structured, high-bar recruitment process across the business.
Desired Experience
- Significant experience in a senior, hands-on Talent Acquisition or recruitment role, personally owning searches end to end.
- Experience recruiting within FinTech, RegTech, financial-services technology, compliance, risk, KYC/AML or adjacent enterprise software environments.
- Meaningful experience hiring across GTM and customer-facing functions, which may include Sales (ideally Enterprise Sales), Customer Success, Account Management, Solutions / Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Implementation, Delivery or Support.
- Strong experience recruiting within B2B SaaS, enterprise software or related technology environments.
- Demonstrated ability to source and engage passive candidates in competitive talent markets.
- Strong market-mapping and search strategy capability.
- Personal experience conducting candidate screening and structured interviews.
- Strong evidence-based candidate assessment and recruitment judgement.
- Experience running structured intake and role-calibration conversations with hiring managers.
- Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and challenge hiring managers constructively.
- Strong written communication skills, including producing concise and evidence-based candidate summaries.
- Excellent candidate engagement and relationship-management capability.
- Strong process ownership, organisation and recruitment-system discipline.
- Comfortable managing multiple concurrent searches across different functions, seniority levels or geographies.
- Motivation to operate as a senior individual contributor working with senior leaders with significant ownership and influence.
Nice to have
- Agency, executive search or consulting experienced-hire recruitment experience, particularly where this has developed strong search discipline and market-mapping capability.
- Experience recruiting across multiple international markets, including Ireland, the UK, Europe, the US and Asia.
- Breadth of hiring experience beyond GTM and client-facing functions.
- Experience helping implement or mature structured interview, scorecard or evidence-based recruitment processes.
- Experience working in a scaling SaaS organisation where recruitment processes and operating models are continuing to evolve.
