Manager - Organizational Development & Transformation

About the Role

Messe Muenchen India is looking for a Manager – Organizational Development & Transformation to strengthen the connection between strategy, organizational priorities and performance.

Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role will work across functions as an internal OD consultant, facilitator and coach, helping leaders and teams address organizational challenges through practical, measurable interventions.

A key mandate will be to lead the continued evolution and adoption of MMI’s Objectives & Key Results (OKR) framework, while also supporting broader priorities such as organizational effectiveness, role clarity, ways of working, cross-functional collaboration and change adoption.

Key Responsibilities

OKR Excellence & Strategy Execution

• Own and strengthen MMI’s organization-wide OKR framework, governance and operating rhythm.
• Translate business priorities into clear, outcome-oriented Objectives and measurable Key Results.
• Coach leaders and teams on OKR quality, alignment, prioritization and execution.
• Facilitate quarterly planning, reviews and Reflect & Reset conversations.
• Identify adoption and execution gaps and design targeted interventions.
• Provide leadership with visibility into progress, risks, dependencies and areas requiring attention.
• Build manager capability and ownership of OKRs across the organization.

Organizational Development & Effectiveness

• Diagnose organizational challenges related to role clarity, accountability, collaboration, capability and ways of working.
• Design and facilitate focused OD interventions for teams and functions.
• Support initiatives that improve team effectiveness and cross-functional collaboration.
• Use business, people and organizational insights to identify improvement opportunities.
• Define measures to assess the impact of OD interventions.

Transformation & Change

• Support transformation initiatives sponsored by the CPO and Leadership Team.
• Assess the organizational and people implications of new structures, processes, technologies and ways of working.
• Translate transformation priorities into actionable workstreams and measurable outcomes.
• Design adoption interventions, track progress and address implementation barriers.
• Help ensure that changes are practical, sustainable and connected to business outcomes.

Facilitation, Coaching & Insights

• Facilitate leadership and team workshops on priorities, OKRs, organizational effectiveness and transformation.
• Coach managers and teams on outcome orientation, prioritization, accountability and goal-setting.
• Develop dashboards, diagnostic tools and insights using OKR, business, people and organizational data.
• Identify trends and root causes and recommend evidence-based interventions.
• Build practical tools and frameworks that enable leaders and teams to apply effective practices independently.

Experience & Qualifications

• 7–12 years of relevant experience in Organizational Development, Organizational Effectiveness, Business Transformation, Performance Excellence, Strategy Execution, Management Consulting or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with OKRs or comparable goal and strategy execution frameworks.
• Experience diagnosing organizational or performance challenges and designing practical interventions.
• Strong experience facilitating workshops and working with leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to organizational change or transformation initiatives.
• Strong analytical capability and the ability to convert insights into action.
• Experience with platforms such as Profit.co, WorkBoard, Quantive or similar tools is an advantage.
• Experience in a growing, evolving or multi-business organization is desirable.

Required Experience

• 6–12 years of experience in, Strategy & Transformation, PMO / Enterprise PMO, Business Excellence, Organizational Development, Strategic Operations, Consulting, Chief of Staff or similar strategic execution roles

• Hands-on experience implementing and managing OKR frameworks
• Experience facilitating leadership workshops and strategic reviews
• Exposure to cross-functional business environments
• Experience with performance management or execution platforms such as Profit.co, WorkBoard, Ally.io, Jira Align, Asana Goals, or similar tools
