Salesforce.com Developer

Dodge Construction Network (Dodge) is looking for a Salesforce.com Developer to join our GTM Systems and Tools team. This role will design, build, and maintain custom solutions across our Salesforce ecosystem-partnering with Revenue Operations and GTM Leadership to translate business requirements into scalable, well-architected solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and native platform tools. 

The ideal candidate is a hands-on Salesforce developer who is comfortable owning technical delivery end-to-end — from requirements through deployment — and who brings strong platform architecture judgment to keep our org performant, secure, and maintainable as it scales. 

This is a full-time position and reports directly to the Director of GTM Systems and Tools. 

Preferred Location and Expected Work Hours

This role is based in Kochi, India. Given the need for real-time collaboration with Dodge's US-based GTM Systems and Tools team, candidates should be comfortable working hours that overlap with US Pacific Time, generally 6:00/7:00 PM – 1:00/2:00 AM IST (this shifts by roughly an hour depending on US daylight saving time). 

Travel Requirements

Expected travel is less than 5% of the time but may occasionally be required for team meetings. 

Essential Functions

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions using Flow, Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC) 
• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools 
• Configure and extend Salesforce CPQ, Flow, and Service Cloud to support evolving GTM business processes 
• Write efficient, well-tested Apex code and SOQL queries that respect governor limits and platform best practices 
• Partner with the GTM Systems and Tools team to translate business requirements into scalable technical designs, accounting for Salesforce architecture and data model implications 
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and data integrity issues across the Salesforce platform 
• Maintain clear technical documentation for custom development, integrations, and configuration changes, with disciplined change management and version control 
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to development best practices and release management processes 
• Communicate progress, blockers, and technical tradeoffs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders across time zones 
• Build out and maintain CI/CD deployment processes for Salesforce releases 
• Configure and maintain Salesforce External Client Apps and API access patterns (e.g., JWT Bearer Flow) to support CLI-based tooling and AI agent integrations (e.g., Claude Code) 

Education Requirement

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.

Required Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience 
• Hands-on proficiency with Flow, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL 
• Experience building and maintaining integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware tools 
• Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and governor limits 
• Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Salesforce CPQ strongly preferred), Flow, and Service Cloud 
• Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed, cross-cultural teams 

Preferred Experience, Knowledge and Skills

• Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification 
• Experience working within a distributed, global team structure supporting US-based stakeholders 
• Familiarity with CI/CD and version control tooling for Salesforce development (e.g., Git, Copado, Gearset)

Compensation

Dodge Construction Network offers a market-competitive compensation package for the Kochi, India market, including a base salary and comprehensive benefits, and, for applicable roles, uncapped variable incentive plans or an annual discretionary performance bonus.
