This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, data analysis, modelling, and product growth.</p> <p>You’ll be responsible for understanding how our savings rates perform in the market, why, and what we should do about it—from pricing optimisation to deposit forecasting. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Treasury, Data Science, and Product squads to develop market and deposit insights and analysis, and turn them into actionable decisions that drive sustainable growth.</p> <p>This is a highly visible, hands-on role with a direct impact on our deposit volumes, margin, and competitiveness in the UK market.</p> <h3><strong>🔑 You’ll play a key role by:</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Monitoring portfolio performance:</strong> Tracking the health of our live savings products against commercial targets, identifying performance trends, and digging into the data to diagnose the drivers behind deposit movements.</li> <li><strong>Driving volume and margin trade-offs:</strong> Analysing pricing elasticity, acquisition, and retention data to model trade-offs and optimise growth vs. profitability.</li> <li><strong>Contributing to savings strategy:</strong> Sizing and modelling the commercial impact of strategic initiatives to help evaluate and recommend future decisions, while collaborating with Finance during planning cycles.</li> <li><strong>Cross-functional alignment:</strong> Partnering with Treasury, Finance, and Product Squads to provide analytical clarity on pricing decisions and balance sheet impacts across Monzo.</li> <li><strong>Developing pricing analytics:</strong> Building, maintaining, and improving our core pricing datasets and Looker dashboards.</li> <li><strong>Leading competitor &amp; macro analysis:</strong> Maintaining a view of the UK macroeconomic landscape, Bank of England rate changes, and competitor movements to recommend agile, market-leading pricing shifts.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>🤩 We’d love to hear from you if:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>You have pricing, portfolio management or commercial product management experience within UK retail banking, fintech, or a highly fast-paced consumer finance environment.</li> <li>You are highly analytical and hands-on with data, comfortable using data to understand customer behaviour and drive commercial decisions.</li> <li>You have experience working with Data Analysis or visualisation tools (e.g., Looker, SQL, Python, Jupyter) to deliver valuable insights.</li> <li>You are comfortable working in complex, ambiguous spaces and can translate intricate financial data into clear, compelling narratives for stakeholders.</li> <li>You thrive in a product-led, digital-first environment where things move quickly.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>💰 What’s in it for you</strong></h2> <p>💰 Salary is £75,000 - £95,000 depending on experience&nbsp;</p> <p>📍 This role will be based out of our London office next to Liverpool Street station - in a hybrid way of working between the office and home</p> <p>⏰ We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team.&nbsp;</p> <p>💰 26 days holiday (plus bank holidays)</p> <p>🏥 Private medical insurance with WPA</p> <p>📚 £1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses and conferences.</p> <p>🏡 We will set you up to work from home; all employees are given Macbooks and for fully remote workers we will provide extra support for your work-from-home setup.&nbsp;</p> <p>➕ Plus lots more!
